Elaine is close to the end of her glory days or this could be it for her. I am not saying she was at her best but I understand why she wouldn’t even give up her spot and the second leg was the only leg she could run now. World champs is a prize money event. Not many athletes are going to give up their money like that but if a formula always work, why change it?
Shelly had too much ground to close in on luckily she didn’t pull a muscle running that curve.
Rudey, gonna shift gears because you seem like you might know this info...Jamaica has a girl who ran the 110m hurdles in last year Olympics but didnt seem to make the squad for the World Championships...phat nuh rass...ridiculously phat....do you know who I am talking about? Whats her name?

I wonder what happened to my pretty
babeee Dina Asher-Smith
on the 3rd leg. She looked so confused and upset
I would volunteer my services to ease
her pain with some 150 tongue strokes
on her tight fisted oochie meat.

:sleazy:
DAMN she fine and those bubble curves, sweet goodness

SFP has more experience and much better starts but Shericka has speed and the power/stamina to make up for what she lacks in starts. That was evident in the 100m finals as well as how much she was able to walk down Terry in the 4x100. That was the reason behind my rationale in having Shericka at the anchor. Same reason why Bolt was always the anchor for the mens 4x100s during their runs.

Go watch Shelly running the 2nd and the anchor leg in some of those 4x100m.
As a matter of fact go watch 2019 WC when she just came back from her pregnancy.
This is actually the first time I see Shericka face some challenge when she anchors it.
Shericka doesn't have speed Shelly has over a 100m stretch.
You keep mentioning power/stamina, 4x100m is really a short race what really matters is who can pick up on their top speed fast.

Your reasoning is not the reason why Bolt anchored the 4x100m.
Actually, Asafa was initially anchor leg runner even when they broke the first world record.
Asafa is a better anchor runner than Bolt despite what many may say.
Asafa injuries set him aside and a few things happen.

Bolt became the wonder boy for track & field.
They literally changed the closing event because of him.
Many want to see Bolt run through that finishing line.
Yohan Blake arrived, now Bolt didn't have to run the 3rd leg.

everyone expected the Jamaicans to dust the Americans. The Jamaicans shouldn't of lost.
