Can we stop talking about casuals? Who gives a fuck what a casual thinks?

And what the fuck is a casual? Someone that listens to rap once a month?

Drake has his fans as well as every other rapper. Yes Drake lost the Pusha T battle but what was supposed to happen? What did you expect or want to happen?

All Drake's fans stop listening to him because he was a deadbeat Dad and because he lost that battle?

Was Jay supposed to curl up in a ball never to be heard from again because he lost his battle to Nas?

Muthafucka's ain't getting Ja'Ruled so let it go.

No we can't because the casuals are the ones who are the loudest and the ones who make sure to push the narratives that's the issue lol
There were always casual fans but now casual fans literally drive the culture and that is a huge fucking problem

Outside of that I've said since it dropped nothing is ever over and I hope drake drops something dope lol

I mean idk what else to say after that

He wins to casuals which is all that really matters now

Cause he lost to pusha and it didn't phase him
All these emo niggas that relate to being up at 3am stressing over a woman don't care about bars

In short, I gives less than a fuck what a casual or a dumbass said.

Gillie, Mase and Cam all said some dumb shit about Kendrick's diss. And they're all wrong just like those "Casuals".

Right see my reply above

And THEY are tagged with driving the culture

The casuals always existed but there were ppl there to check them

Not anymore

Rappers leaking disses to media to get a read and have them hype up the diss before it even drop lol

Anyone who says that Pusha didn't win the battle and that Kendrick's diss was mid or wack opinion is instantly invalid.

They can scream as loud as they want and it's

And how exactly is Drake supposed to spit real nicka bars. Come at Kendrick lyrically like a real nicca and evolve into a real nikka overnight if Kendrick just made a whole song explaining that he wasn't a real nicka?

giphy.gif

And that’s just it, fam. He can’t! That’s why Kdot’s lyrics hurt him and you see people trying to play down Euphoria as mid or corny.

Who has really gotten destroyed in a rap battle though in the past 30 years though?

One of if not the hardest diss records ever "Hit'em Up" didn't destroy BIG so what are we really talking about or expecting?

Right. No one gonna admit it. I’ll keep it 100….a day later and I’m still finding new shit out. But some too scared to admit their ignorance they think it makes them look week.

Rap game been compromised and it sounds like it ain’t from just the gen z fans it’s coming from the old heads too. The old heads not being honest like they was 20 years ago.
Being honest fucks with the money. Sponsors pull out for controversial takes, views and likes go down, and these cats adjust accordingly. It’s a shame what it’s become and how the truth is curbed every second for some virality.

But also, those who know, know. We won’t never stop calling out the bs.

It’s the herd mentality most people are idiots and hate who they are told to hate. The whole Ja rule vs 50 shit was a popularity contest. Ja rule really isn’t a sucka like 50 claims. People rode with 50 because he was more popular at the time. The same idiots who were bumpin Ja rule before. That was some street shit that went industry.

Hmmm... 30 years

Funny you kinda right the best battles both sides benefited or died

Jay Nas are fine

Big Pac murdered

Jay Cam fine

KRS hurt Shan

LL hurt KMD and Canibus.

Kwame never recovered from Biggie

Twista Treach was nothing

Quik, Eiht both fine

TI hurt Lil flip

KRS Nelly

Eminem beefs are tricky but no violence

Jeezy Gucci people died

Common Cube fine

Cube NWA fine

50 hurt Ja (feds ain't help)

50 v the game hmmm did it hurt Game career?

Did drake beat Common?

Drake beat Kanye

Drake really hurt Meek

Pusha hurt drake legacy

Remy and Nicki nothing

50 and Rawse nothing happen

Budden v WU Tang

50 beefs with everybody hurt NY rap as a whole.

There are a LOT of LA AND NY rap street beefs I won't go into that caused death.

NY drill rap beef Chicago drill rap beef

RIP King Von

So it isn't a clear cut answer. It really depends. A lot is depending on media and peripheral influence

And the turn on Ja Rule is still puzzling to me to this day.

It do….but it don’t…like some podcasts what separates them from other podcasts is honesty. But shit I hope it’s not this bad where people can’t be real.

Canibus, Ja rule and u cant say biggie pac didnt live long enough. And even then the track was damaging. Obviously drake will stay around same way ja is still around. But he will take heavy damage from somebody like drake vs somebody like pusha.

Real Spit...

I'm surprised at some of the polarization about Kendricks track...might be a mixture of some people not catching all the subtext, metaphors etc. and the shit going over their heads.... Might be a Stylistic preference thing, and with some others it might be an extremely heightened expectation due to the length of time that elapsed.

some might just be Kendrick haters who won't like or admit to liking his shit no matter what.....Just like the Drake Haters

But to call it mid or trash is disingenuous at best and a flat out Jim Crow Lie at worst.

I think some of the old heads might not appreciate the voice changes, and inflections that Kendrick does...they want more of a straight ahead aggressive spit over boom bap beat type shit....maybe they expected him to make a "blacker the berry (The diss track edition") and when it was a lil different than they expected it threw them off.
