Can we just keep it 100 BGOL?
Most of the people who see no problem don't like Kyrie because he didn't take that vaccine yall happily took.

Also yall the same docile negro Malcom warned us about progeny. Yall picked cotton and didn't want to offend whitey with the go along get along gang. Type of sambos to see your brother getting whipped and be happy he getting them lashes.
Wrong, that clown nigga said the earth is Flat.

I have not heard anyone who claims to have seen it say EVERYONE ELSE is lying about the holocaust thing.

I still haven't seen it myself like I said.

So it's possible.

But I seen heard enough in this thread to believe it until you or someone show me different.

Please show me your proof

I shown you mine.

cause that is important and would have an effect on the discussion being had.

But even Kyrie defenders at least from what I've read heard and seen haven't disputed that.

What i'm seeing is too many folks regurgitating what others are saying...

If you've seen it, give your own honest opinion...or allow the director to expound...

The points that some claim are causing alarm aren't new...those points have been brought up by academics, scholars and Arabs for decades without challenge or debate but instead met with a label of 'anti-semitism'...

The platform promoting and profiting cleared the doc/film for public consumption. Inflammatory hate speech etc is included in that review process..

But I digress...

As the director himself is offering open dialogue and debate on the offending claims but instead he's met with silence and the usual label...

The only conversation I care to see at this point is one between the director and those taking offense...

Again, you want to move the goal posts ~~ "now where is your energy on our actual rights being attacked? That's the REAL anti-blackness"
You should be an NFL ref moving that goal posts this much.

The point is Kyrie is dealing with REAL anti-Blackness, that's what you don't understand.

Ok sure. He is. And all this energy put forth defending him isn’t going to affect the lives of anyone but him. Whether Kyrie is suspended or not doesn’t advance the cause of black people one iota.

That’s what you don’t get.

So carry on with your Kyrie crusade bruh.

You mean the energy that you're putting forth trying to dismiss the presence of anti-Blackness, I see you.

Big Tex, all I was asking for was reciprocity, they were treating Kyrie one way while the White athletes and entertainers weren't getting that same treatment. For example, Mel Gibson and Brett Farve get to enjoy their lily-white lives without going through the racial & cultural gauntlet. Just treat Kyrie the same way then. That's all I'm saying.

As for your claim "Kyrie is suspended or not doesn’t advance the cause of black people one iota," ~~ homie, what you don't understand is that fight against anti-Blackness is everywhere no matter how big and no matter how small.

All the Times Mel Gibson Has Been Accused of Anti-Semitism and Racism

Here are all the times Mel Gibson has faced racism and anti-semitism accusations.

2004
Gibson's 2004 film The Passion of the Christ has been criticized for being anti-semitic, with The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) releasing a statement ahead of its release at the time that concluded by saying: "The Passion could likely falsify history and fuel the animus of those who hate Jews."

2006
In 2006, Gibson was forced to apologize to a Los Angeles police officer who claimed the actor had shouted abuse at him during an arrest, including a claim that "the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."

He later issued an apology asking Jewish people for forgiveness.

"There is no excuse, nor should there be any tolerance, for anyone who thinks or expresses any kind of anti-Semitic remark," Gibson said in a statement per the New York Times.

He continued, in part: "I want to apologize specifically to everyone in the Jewish community for the vitriolic and harmful words that I said to a law enforcement officer the night I was arrested on a D.U.I. charge. I am a public person, and when I say something, either articulated and thought out, or blurted out in a moment of insanity, my words carry weight in the public arena."

Abraham H. Foxman, the director of the ADL said at the time: "We're glad that he owned up that what he said was not only offensive, but bigoted. When he's finished with alcohol rehabilitation, we will be ready and willing to meet with him and to help him get rid of his other addiction, which is prejudice."

Speaking about the incident 10 years later on Variety's "Playback" podcast, Gibson said the arrest had been "recorded illegally."

"I was loaded and angry and arrested. I was recorded illegally by an unscrupulous police officer who was never prosecuted for that crime. And then it was made public by him for profit, and by members of—we'll call it the press. So, not fair. I guess as who I am, I'm not allowed to have a nervous breakdown, ever."

2010
Gibson faced backlash when in 2019, audio was released capturing an argument between the actor and his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, in which he launches into a racist, sexist rant against her.

At one point on the tape, Gibson is heard saying: "You go out in public and it's a f***ing embarrassment to me. You look like a f***ing b**** on heat and if you get raped by a pack of n****** it will be your fault."

President of the Los Angeles NAACP, Leon Jenkins, commented on the tirade at the time, telling TMZ: "It's unfortunate a man who has made his millions off of women, African-Americans and Jews harbors such racist, sexist, and anti-semitic feeling against people who have admired and respected him for decades."

This same year, Ryder spoke about the "oven-dodger" comments made to her by Gibson, telling GQ: "I was with my friend, who's gay. [Gibson] made a really horrible gay joke. And somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about 'oven dodgers', but I didn't get it. I'd never heard that before."

2013
In 2015, Fox News reported that Gibson gave an interview two years prior to former Republican speechwriter Peggy Noonan for Reader's Digest where he downplayed the number of Jews murdered in the Holocaust,

Of the Holocaust, Gibson told Noonan: "I mean when the war was over they said it was 12 million. Then it was six. Now it's four. I mean it's that kind of numbers game..."

2019
In 2019, Gibson shocked social media users when it was announced he will play a major role in Rothchild, an upcoming film chronicling a black sheep's attempt to get back into the good graces of a wealthy Jewish family.

ya gotta point... that nigga didn't get nearly the same shut 'em down treatment as Kyrie and he's an habitual line stepper.

Thanks for the rundown. Yeah, man, all we're asking for is reciprocity, that's all: treat one group the same as another group. It seems like Black folks are treated differently and that's unfair.

U been in here tap dancing so now you respect that Farrakhan was saying what others were saying all along

You don't know what tap dancing is and you don't know what taking accountability is.

For that reason, don't quote me again because you're proving to be another brainless poster.

I couldn't watch it. It is literally that bad a production. Like fucking terribly written and produced. Cable access shit. Kyrie definitely has some cognitive issues to even promote this trash. I'm angry and want my 10.99 back so I can do something useful with it like burn it for warmth

I know what you have been doing in here ad nauseam and instead of taking accountability or adding nuance to the conversation you chose to add on to what others were doing

After rewatching the video below:

I kinda feel like the Nets overreacted. No Kyrie didn't answer the questions in the way that the Nets or reporters wanted them answered them.

But he answered them.

He was being stubborn and didn't want to give them exactly what they wanted which was an "I'm sorry". But he admitted that some things were wrong and that he didn't intend to hurt anyone.

It would've been better to answer "No" when asked was he antisemitic but he answered it his own nuanced way.

Which the media or the Nets didn't like.

He apologized a day or two later on his Instagram and that maaaaaaaybe should've been enough.

Yo this shit is TERRRIBLE. I TAKE IT ALL BACK. This is among one of the worst productions I have ever seen in my life. If you pay for this you got fleeced. I GOT FUCKING FLEECED. :crymeariver::lol::thumbsdown:
I haven’t seen it either because I doubt there is anything in it that I don’t know already.

If it is about what is being discussed from a content perspective, it is good for more people to see to learn more differing from the historical narrative taught in the school systems.

There's a message...quality aside. The message resonates with knowledge passed on from ancestors, fam, historians...

Chancellor Williams, Cheikh Anta Diop, Dr. Ben, Ivan Van Sertima, Dr. Clarke, John G. Jackson, Runoko Rashidi, too many to list...

Debate and disputation are highly encouraged and at the heart of Judiasm...

So why not debate or open dialogue with those holding opinions and beliefs not aligned with yours...

Overreaction...

As i've said, another missed opportunity...

I re-digress...
