I'm looking back at my job history and it's pretty bad, I mean really bad it shows no growth at all.

I got to think this out but I'm strongly leaning towards just doing something else and calling it a day.

I'm 50 I am old and this isn't a good look at all.

Youtube can be a good side hustle if you win the lottery(having charisma, finding the right topic, at the right time, and being able to monetize) but that requires a lot of variables to line up at the right time. Even then its not the same as a solid 9-5....especially in tech.

In 2009 when I first started looking for Internships the company I now work for was trading for 20 bucks a share. Its over 400 today. If a kid born in 87 graduated that year and started working there with a 50k grant they gave new hires back then and didnt touch any of their stock that is over 600k today. That is if they never got a single other stock vest, which they would have if they survived the 4 years to get the full amount. In all honesty you are a millionaire this morning at 37. You get that working at a big public tech company, and that isnt even taking into account the companies which exploded the last year or so. Look at Nvidia. A kid who graduated in 2019 right before covid who got something like 90k over 4 years is now sitting at 3.1 million dollars. Imagine being 27 and being a multimillionaire just from a 9-5 you got out of undergrad?

Now these sound like lottery shots, but this has been a consistent way to a wealthy life and generational wealth for families for decades.

Well I seen it first hand but in the Finance market, and that shit was no fuckin joke, folks 401ks were in the millions, but then 2008 happened and I seen millionaires who were

ready to retire somewhere tropical, having to take a job at a retail store to make ends meet.. some came back hung in there, didn't sell, roughed the hard times and made their money back, many more didn't,

but chea tech world is where its at, but not JUST tech.. FIN TECH... there are folks that started their digital money business,

aka crypto exchanges, and they are on their way to being a billionaire before thirty.. FIN TECH is

where the big money is right now bruh..

but I feel you on youtube, but I think that formula is if you want to blow up on youtube,

Im saying there are people making a living with less than five hundred subscribers and that's doable...

ain't the poster Duke Jackson pretty big on youtube now, ain't he pushing over a qtr million??

first off stop saying you are old, there is power in your words, what

goes on in your head, your body follows...start telling yourself you are young

healthy and experiencing a third childhood...

I just know Im tired of that resume bullshit... and if you move, don't settle for anywhere,

stay where you really feel the vibe, don't make yourself miserable..

does your city govt have a website, hit that up, look for training the leads to jobs,

they got plenty of federal programs for older folks like that..

IF you seek you shall find BRUH!!!

trust me tho, all else fails, just get whatever you can, to keep the lights on,

get up everyday, be consistent and focused on the type of life you want, visualize that shit,

but don't stop working and getting out of bed, watch life start leading you towards the life you

envision... and the fun you are going to have along the way... gotta let that light shine within

been applying on peoplefirst and browardjobs for a minute, nothing sticks.

Also I ask all the time for resources to help but Florida seems to be a very weird place, no one knows anything usually.

I'm go to georgia and see how that go and just go look around.
