i stand by it...lol. it felt more like a comic book story to me....and i appreciated that. i see where the writers were going but in the movie world it was hit or miss as we see
Ok. So tell me the last good comic book movie?
Eternals was good. It was a damn good movie.
I actually liked Eternals.
I do agree that it was a slow burn & that they were better served making a Marvel series or even a short or two (like the ones they made during the Infinity Saga), really giving the details of who the Eternals are & what they are there for. It would have better explained their reluctance to be involved with humanity & the whole Celestial thing.
And I wish that DC would have stolen whatever special effects they used for Makkari for the Flash. Imagine how badass Flash would have been, taking out the Rogues like that in a starting scene. Warner Brothers/DC & they bullshit....

The goal of the movie was to escape to Canada. Like Canada has some sort of magic force field. The Reavers could just follow them to Canada!
Laura didn't talk for half the movie. - Never explained why.
Wolverine wanted to buy a boat so him and Prof X and Caliban could live there. Caliban was allergic to the Sun.
Wolverine listen to Prof X and stayed the night with the black family. The entire family was massacred. It did nothing for the plot.

The movie was ok.
But it should have been a 9 episode series of hour long episodes.
There were just too many characters and they were unable to do a effective character development with them.

No it wasn't.
Watch it again and you will see it was a bad movie with some good parts.
The plot was RIDICIOUSLY STUPID.
1) Logan wanted to buy a boat so he, Prof X and Caliban could live in it? Caliban cannot stay in the sunlight
2) Logan was going to help the kids get to Canada. What is so safe about Canada? The kids can be followed into Canada.
It isn't like there is a force field!
3) Evil Wolverine clone was the main villain? Wtf!
I don’t think the plot was he and C going to live together on a boat. Maybe I’m not remembering the same film I could’ve swore Pierce was the main villain.
Canada was suppose to be safe for them or they thought anyway.

Wolverine's healing factor went bad Do to adamanian poisoning his blood, How, the metal is no longer liquid form and his healing factor is his power. That's like sayimg Storms ability to control weather makes her get pneumonia.
Professor X killed all the other X-Men and yet somehow couldn't do that to wolverine. What made him so special?
Clone wolverine for some odd reason could not go into a berserker rage... I guess for plot purposes old man Logan would not have survived and the bad guys would have won.
The only shining grace in the movie was X23...she was dope!

I want to see how they handle a sequel. They need to be smart about budget because this shit is not gonna be a monster hit.

Eternals should have been a tv series 1st. They could have really went in depth with each character. It would have been a lot better than just a thrown together movie…
I did. I didn’t like it as a Marvel film but liked it as a film. I didn’t think it was bad at all.
I agree I just don’t know how the budget would’ve went but it reeks of a story meant for TV.
