Everyone needs to know that you can't just throw them together in the beginning. You have to show what they're dealing separate ultimately bring them together. So I get people calling the first few episodes boring.
What I liked about the series:
-Misty Knight's titties!!!
-Luke Cage smashing fresh out the joint!!! Lol
-Fight scenes
-Music was dope!
-The gems and Easter eggs

Anyone else get the vibe that weakened Jessica Jones in this one. Originally she was only slightly weaker than Luke Cage.

Yep. It's ridiculous that they waited so long to let her let it all out but does give me hope for her season 2. 1st season was tough to get through all though Kilgrave made it fun.

Even the other characters were shocked when it happened lol

But, I think she did throw a car too

They were smart and kept Misty Knight in tight shirts.

Nah she pushed it. She did something along those lines twice but pushing a car is easier than holding up a damn elevator with two people in it.

ok now ..first i must say that the ending sucked major a---!im not gonna tell what happened but the ones that seen this knows what i mean .it was cool the first 4 ep.then it was pissing me off with all bull like luke cage getting hurt by normal people but when iron fist was fighting him it wasn't doing anything.i mean it was hard to finish the last 4 eps due to the bull.i mean jessica got on my nerves threw the whole series lol i mean that girl didn't need to be in the show at all.they could have got dannys girl and it would have been better.i know some of you may clown me but hey it is what it is you will see when you watch it.i will give the whole series a 7/10

I'm about the same score wise. I think a second season will be better since they don't have to do the team building and can get right into it.

Nah she pushed it. She did something along those lines twice but pushing a car is easier than holding up a damn elevator with two people in it with one hand.

I agree, I was just saying they did have a couple other displays of super human strength.

I kind of feel like they down played everyone's ability to an extent.

I wish there was just a little more tie in with the movies. At the very least they could have had something about the accords from civil war, no way Jessica and Luke wouldn't have had to register.

Netflix’s ‘Marvel’s The Defenders’ Poised for Binge-Viewing Pop, Data Indicates

NETFLIX
AUGUST 18, 2017 | 05:34AM PT

There are no standard “ratings” for Netflix. But “Marvel’s The Defenders,” the streamer’s newest original series in the street-hero franchise, could be one of its biggest hits ever, independent research indicates.

The four preceding Marvel series leading up to “Defenders” — “Daredevil” season 2, “Jessica Jones,” “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist” — were among the top five most-viewed recently released Netflix originals in the first 30 days after their premieres, according to data from marketing-analytics firm Jumpshot, provided exclusively to Variety. Teen-suicide drama “13 Reasons Why” took the No. spot.

It seems safe to predict that “The Defenders,” as the culminating mashup with each of the four characters uniting against a common enemy, will turn in similar binge-heavy viewership as well. Netflix released all eight episodes of the limited series at 12:01 a.m. PT Friday. The show stars Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist).

TV Review: ‘Marvel’s The Defenders’ on Netflix

The analysis from Jumpshot shows the relative number of U.S. Netflix viewers who watched at least one episode of each series. The data is presented as a index, benchmarked against the most-viewed Netflix original in the comparison, “Daredevil” season 2. For example, “13 Reasons Why,” the second most-viewed premier in the first 30 days, garnering 48% of the viewers that “Daredevil 2” received.

Of the series studied, “13 Reasons Why” was the only Netflix original that showed any growth in week-over-week viewership in the first month of release, with an 18% increase from week one to week two. That reflects strong word-of-mouth buzz for the controversial show.

“Stranger Things” was the seventh most-viewed Netflix original premiere in its first 30 days, but it had the lowest week-over-week decline in viewership, per the Jumpshot data. It’s not a surprise that shows see a viewing drop-off after the first week, given Netflix’s binge-friendly release strategy.

Meanwhile, “Orange Is the New Black” season 5 was the least-viewed among the Netflix original series analyzed by Jumpshot, registering just 10% of the viewers “Daredevil 2” over the initial 30-day period.

“OITNB” has been cited by company execs as consistently being among its most popular series, so why did the latest run apparently turn in weaker results? One potential factor: A hacker who had stolen the first 10 episodes (out of 13 total) released them to piracy networks six weeks ahead of the season 5 debut, after Netflix refused to pay a ransom. In addition, it may be that “Orange” fans simply didn’t dive in immediately. The season’s June 9 release date may have pushed “OITNB” farther down the queue for Netflix subs who were in the middle of one of the other series that debuted over the preceding four weeks (“House of Cards” season 5, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” season 3 and “Master of None” season 2).

San Francisco-based Jumpshot analyzes click-stream data from an online panel of more than 100 million consumers, which amounts to 160 billion individual clicks per month. To compile the data on Netflix originals, it looked at the viewing behavior and activity of the company’s U.S. members.

Iron Fist's fighting is much better in this but I still feel like Daredevil outclasses him in this series and it's supposed to be the other way around

Despite, the whining you're right about Iron Fist fighting....

I posted a story in the Iron Fist thread that he didn't have time to practice....Marvel basically rushed the TV series.

With that said, hopefully the new showrunner will build on Iron Fist choreography

Not even Lewis Tan couldn't save this dayum fight.....:smh::smh::smh::smh:

4 episodes in and it's been pretty good so far.
I enjoyed all of the seperate installments (Iron fist the least). I'll be home all weekend so this should help me pass the time nicely.

It was ok.

Could have been better.

I wish the show put more effort into avoiding instances of bad guys leaving the good guys alive for no good reason.

Bokudo vs Coleen for the 100th time got real old.

I wish they tried to build some kind of chemistry between Dany and Luke. They did the complete opposite instead.

Since DD Season 2 they kept talking about Black Sky... We still have no clue what Black Sky is or was supposed to be. Elektra is Elektra... WTF is Black Sky?

What I really feel was missing from the show was showing us backstory on The Hand in Kun Lun. Seeing a young Gao, Alexandra... It would have gone a long way into making us buy into the antagonist.

The series to me was EH, The black sky made it the most interesting until her final moments.

The most annoying shit about it was, They live in a reality with the Avengers, they them selves have super powers, but "The hand" was too unbelievable for them to grasp in 7episodes???

Somehow someway they've never heard of Thor or the Chitauri who attacked their city.

For whatever reason,Marvel is keeping the Netflix shows/Agents of Shield and the movies separated,it makes no sense at all.

I'm not saying do crossovers all the time, but at least do it more often. Sif and Nick Fury are the only movie characters to crossover to Agents of Shield.

It will be real interesting to see,if Marvel allow the Kingpin to crossover to Spider-Man,since he's a major villain of Spider-Man.

That's not true, they mentioned it in Jessica Jones, even though it was for a brief moment.

Why would they know of this? At least the names?

Thor doesn't live on Earth. And the attack is only known as "The incident" to everybody that isn't linked to S.H.I.E.L.D.

I havent seen anything anywhere that tells me that all the Avengers missions have been swept under the rug and kept secret from the public.

Everybody knows Iron Man and Cap. The Avengers have their own building in NY. SHIELD was a public organization. The Chitauri attacked the most populated city in the US...

well they didnt set it up as a flashback.thats what i mean about this show it seemed rushed and needed more then 8 ep to tell the story better.maybe 10 would have made a difference.

Never watched her series, but Watching this, I didnt know what her range of powers were. The most she did until the elevator was just knock people out.

I had to wiki her, and it also says she can fly.
yea shes almost like superman but shes not bullet proof.on her series they didnt display hardly none of her powers and on this series she only did 3 thing.one thing in first ep and 1 thing in i think the 7 and 1 in the final ep..lol i thought her powers was being rude and complaining because thats all she did.lol
