And I liked jj, but she was just straight up annoying this go around... They do need some better writing and directing going fwd
Luckily they're playing Avengers on cable and I watched the ending. They show the news saying how it's confirmed that NYC was attacked by aliens and how the Avengers saved everyone. Then they show kids playing with home made Thor hammers.
I finished watching all the episodes ..It was ok, it's some things in the show i have to question..but overall, it was ok!!
Yeah, lots of questions, but once they get the timelines & the writing better, it'll be a good thing
I can't front every scene she's in, it takes all my willpower to avoid focusing exclusively on her chest. And it's not like she's wearing low cut shit or tank tops with side boobs showing. Sister is just blessed.

I'm at the same point as you. It's definitely better than Iron Fist season one even though a lot of the plot is centered around Danny Rand. I'd say it's notch above Jessica Jones, but nowhere near either season of Dare devil or Luke Cage season 1.
I can't name anything really bad about it, except that the main Villains felt underpowered or were acting kinda dumb for people who been alive for so long. No Vandal Savages in that crew lol.
Whatever emotional punch the main "twist" in the storyline was supposed to have was wrecked because we've seen in before even in other Marvel series. Same thing with the ending. No one but the characters on the show really thought that what they said happened actually happened.
The action scenes were ok but got real predictable over the course of the show.
Step 1: Dany and Dare Devil engage with the best evil team fighers
Step 2: Jessica or Luke either throw somebody or something across the room
Step 3: Evil henchmen start spraying bullets and Luke steps in to cover one or two people on the team
Step 4: Goto step 1 until the evil team is down
I guess everyone plays to their strength until they get some practice time together. There was moment during the Big Battle where Luke and Jessica kind of tag teamed Madam Gau to get her down. I wanted to see more of that.
Good things I liked:
Luke Cage was able to be morally centered without being a pussy. He definitely followed his own code,but when it came time to throw down he was bout it. Also he was definitely the only male character on the show actually getting ass so that's a plus too. For a minute I thought he was gonna smash Jessica again lol.
Misty Knight - Simone Kisseck? was just beautiful to see on screen and her impressive mammaries definitely took a star turn.
Danny Rand - I can tell they got a stunt man to fill in for some of the more difficult fight/stunt sequences. His action scenes were noticeably better.
yeah they didn't explain that very well. The architect was attempting to blow up the building but I wasn't clear if that was his plan or if he actually tried to do it before he died.
I THINK that the Hand thought initially they were going to have to destroy part of the city to get to the "substance",but then realized that they just needed the Iron Fist to get it. But if that was the case why were they looking for Danny in the first place?
The Villains were just not smart or good. Dark Sky was supposed to be this big bad ass, but she really didn't fight any better than the anyone else til Elektra was fully back in control.
I think the earthquake was from them trying to blow open the dome.
To me it sounded like the "substance" has to be holding up the city and city would physically collapse when completely removed.
I think this would have to be the case and will likely help explain the ending.
The substance was the foundation holding up the city. They've done it before in other city's keeping up eternal life they alluded to it before having destroyed city's for the substance to stay alive forever.
Huge opportunity that they kind of hit and missed on.

Colleen was annoying as hell. "Hey I can fight I can do this" We know you can but you're not a super hero chill a little bit.
I didn't like Claire at the midland spot either. No reason for her to be in the weeds with them.

Jessica was dope. She can't fight for shit physically but her mental fight throughout the season was a joy to watch. Many don't like her cause she can't do kung-fu and shit but she's dope af to me.
Luke they neutered him a LITTLE too much. He is about good. He needed to hit a switch to busting heads. He never quite went there.
Devil did as best he could with what they gave him. He wasn't a sore spot at all in the season.
Elektra played her part excellently too.
Really minor things stopped it from being flawless.
Power distribution mostly.
in 1 scene Jessica can't demolish folks the next she's tossing cats across the room. Same with Luke. Grab, toss them against the wall 30 feet away, done. I wouldve been fine with that because Rand and Devil are fighting well enough that it would work 2 skill 2 force looks really dope.
Elektra handles all 3 of them in 1 scene and can't handle Daredevil in the big fight. Is she as powerful as Luke and them cause she sure did kick him and knock him out or nah?

That made no sense,I understand Iron Fist and Jessica Jones giving Luke Cage problems,but other than that no way regular people should be able to beat him up.
I think the smoke he inhaled had something to do with that...but I agree that Luge Cage power seemed to go up and down and Elektra whipped all their asses a little too quickly when she took Danny

Jessica is an alcoholic, and unhygienic - there should be some skits where everyone does the scenes with a POV that Jess has bad breath and body odor

Jessica Jones took the stairs all throughout the series.
Even when Her and Devil were trying to run up stairs to rescue Danny who they left tied up, she ran up the stairs and daredevil did his parkour shit.

It didn't really dig deep into Jessica's involvement and Luke's involvement. Like the African kingpin of Harlem we didn't see anything about him. Just that he wears white...
The series was pretty good just a couple things would have made it on the level of the other series in the universe its an easy tweak. If you want to lend nods, to each character
Like luke for example. He asked about Black Mariah and shades, she could've put him onto them and they met up with cat in the white hat and he found his way to the hand that way...
Jessica's involvement was solid. She got involved cause of the case.
The pieces fit they just weren't cultivated quite enough.
She's reluctant.
SO many people really hated on her series but I enjoyed it and she easily faced the toughest villain any of the 4 have faced so far.
