Marvel Studios keeps getting better and better; we have to nitpick to find shit wrong; but episodes are way too short; and dam almost all of them can be made into movies :eek2: shit would be crazy!! man this Kilmonger shit was great!! Marvel about to have everyone buy Disney plus...

Fucking Marvel.....

After watching this "Mid Season" video and the Killmonger's episode....

I think the First few episodes are only Part 1 of bigger storylines...

The endings are actually setups for future episodes....

Ep.1 Captain Carter leading a Woman's Avengers
(Black Widow, Mad Titian Garmora, etc....)

Ep.2 T'Challa and Guardians vs Peter Quill and Ego

Ep.3 Pym killing Avengers leads to Captain Marvel's Avengers and an "Age of Ultron" ...?

Ep.4 & 5 Evil Strange and "Party" Thor mention Zombies.... ?

Ep. 6 Shuri vs Killmonger...

All this foreshadowing to Black Panther/Chadwick Boseman death is unsettling as hell for me.

Nah they need to have someone new play Tchalla
On one hand its comics and its just a character so another actor playing him is understandable

on the other hand...too soon... we can have someone else play the character in a future reboot but right now I think they should work with what happened and play that out with Shuri being the black panther.. a woman taking over a BP was also in the comics.

I agree but I think T Challa character is way too important, in the comics, for him to be killed off. I get the sentimental aspect with C Boseman. Just doesn't make sense to kill the character off though....

this is just me talking as a armchair writer but if I were in charge of the BP franchise I would play out the big blip and Boseman's death and let Shuri be BP for a 3 movie arch (depending on how successful the first one is)..the reasoning being:
  • Keeping Tchalla dead brings more gravity to the world of Black Panther
  • Having a female badass BP satisfies the black female fanbase which is totally underserved and ignored and NOT insignifant..just ask Tyler Perry who paid for his multi million dollar studio and soundstages...
  • When the new actor for Tchalla is brought in there will be much greater enthusiasm and anticipation. Kinda like when a new actor for James Bond is introduced. In fact I would totally use that model.
IF the 3 movie deal works out...by that time (we're talking the better part of a decade) I would reboot the franchise and introduce a new actor for Tchalla.

So you gonna just ignore all of the DC Animation that is well above Marvel? The video games? The actual comics? The Joker film, Suicide Squad, Black Adam, The Batman? All of the DC TV shows?

You cannot believe that excelling in one area, which is films, signals the end of a franchise with years and years of continued success.

What if is a great step in the right direction, Marvel still has more work to do. Just like Joker and Suicide Squad is a great step in the right direction, but DC still has more work to do.

Why is it so hard to have rational and honest conversations?

My only issue is that Letitia Wright can't pull off being BP. She's so fucking small and skinny. You actually got Angela Bassett calling her petite.

I'm not against Shuri being BP but I just don't think it works with the current actress. If any one of the three women that were playing the Dora in Falcon and Winter Soldier were playing Shuri then yeah it, works.

Thats the thing....the suit does most of the work.. hell tony stark is an alcoholic playboy who as far as we can tell can't even fist fight outside the armor... but its not necessary...and not once has anyone ever questioned his physical qualifications. Between the purple drink and the panther suit's capabilities (that SHE designed updates on by the way) all Shuri has to do is stay upright and walk and run in the thing. :giggle:

Lupita been in the gym a lot more than the first movie. If anything that should be a hint.

One thing I like about MCU is they make their actors workout and look fit. DC always using these stupid muscle suits with the exception for Henry Cavill.
