It was good but too short like most of the episodes.

Also felt like most of the guardians were just filler. Dr Strange did most of the work.

So you can only destroy the stones with the machine native to the stones universe but you can use the stones in any universe. Also you can use the stones to control time but not outside time.

Ed Brubaker Says He Earns More From His MCU Cameo Than From Co-Creating the Winter Soldier
BY DREW BAUMGARTNERPUBLISHED APR 15, 2021
“Being a co-creator of the Winter Soldier, I should not have to worry about providing for my wife."

In an interview that covered everything from pitching the Winter Soldier to Marvel editorial back in 2005 to why he hasn’t watched The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Brubaker detailed a laundry list of slights he and co-creator Steve Epting have received over the years. These include being left off the invite list to the Captain America: The Winter Soldier premiere afterparty, an insultingly low check for a “Thank You” credit in Captain America: Civil War, and being relegated to the overflow theater for Civil War’s premiere.

Most importantly, Brubaker and Epting aren’t being cut in on the profits their creation is generating.
It’s a common refrain in the comics world, where characters created on a “work for hire” basis go on to anchor huge movie franchises, often leaving their creators in the cold. It’s an issue that has spawned countless lawsuits, ranging from Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster to Blade creator Marv Wolfman to Captain America creators Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.

“Being a co-creator of the Winter Soldier, I should not have to worry about providing for my wife,” remarked Brubaker. “There’s nothing preventing anyone at Marvel from looking at how much the Winter Soldier has been used in all this stuff and calling up me and Steve Epting and saying, ‘You know what, we’re going to try to adjust the standard thing so that you guys feel good about this.’”

In spite of it all, Brubaker reiterates that he’s “not sour,” and speaks highly of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie, as well as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

“I knew what I was getting into, and I’m not unhappy with my life or that I wrote this thing,” says Brubaker. “I loved working at Marvel. I had a great time there. But at the same time, I also feel like, you know, be a little bit more generous. Like, invite us to the afterparty.”

thats just pure greed on Marvel/Disneys part...pure and simple..no other way to slice it or make an argument to the contrary. Its greed and a kin to usury.

I loved the series. I went back and re-watched them all with it in mind that these aren't standalone episode, but rather a self-contained 'phase 1' of this Avenger team up. You could actual see the character growth in some of the characters by the final two episodes. Especially Dr. Strange, road warrior Widow, and Captain Carter. And they set-up several different Avenger teams throughout the season and could go back to any one of them in a future season if they chose.

Not for nothing, but AT&T leaked DC's Injustice this weekend (down in the basement) and when did they start losing the animation wars too? That was the one lane they had going for them but that company never recovered from the new 52. I complained in the Long Halloween thread about DC's recent art style and 'What If' really drives my point home.

Why is everyone (INCLUDING WOMEN) drawn with huge square jaw lines and big muscles? Even Lois had a strong chin and muscular shoulders.

Compare that to Captain Carter from 'What If'. You can see the actress in the artwork. You can see the humanity and femininity to the character design.

And each character is drawn differently in order to make them stand out. As opposed to ....

Look at Nightwing and Damien, same jaw line. Damn near the same base character model. And the armor looks ridiculous. All that armor on the batsuit makes it look like it weighs 300 pounds. He basically doing karate in the Hydra Stomper.

That interview?

Woo boy

And I as much as it went "viral "

I still don't think it's gotten enough spotlight...

But many think it helped spark the current wave of creator law suits concerning Marvel Disney

Hmm...

Why are we expecting Disney to resolve matters they got nothing to do with? Disney isn't the problem here. The problem is the one sided messed up deals the artists signed back in the day.

Sure it would be really nice of them to compensate him in some way, and if they do it would be good PR, but I'm not even sure it's right to criticize them for it if they chose not to.

disney owns the rights to the movies based on characters and stories that were created by the writers and artists. Disney uses those stories and makes billions off them but only gives the creator a mere few thousand.

This is exactly the argument dave chappelle was making against hbo.

Are you saying you don't have the right to criticize something thats NOT fair?? or is unethical??

Sadly, those creators sold their creations and everything that came with it off to comic book companies long before Disney ever entered the equation.

Disney aint the ones who fucked him over.

At this point you are citicizing Disney for not being charitable enough.

The difference with Chappelle is that Comedy Central was literally selling 'him', he is the product. Not the case here.

BRADLEY: We have to give a special shoutout to our animation houses and partners around the world that bring this show to life. This is an incredibly detailed art style, with amazing cinematography, and it's not an easy show to animate.

This show takes anywhere from 12 to 16 months for one episode of animation,

so they get a huge amount of credit for really bringing their A-team.
