I don't have the answers. All I know is many in control want to use tragedies like this to further gain control of the people.
All those countries where guns have been removed, so were their rights.
The whole base of what the constitution was written is so govt worked for the people. Not using the people to enrich the govt and giving up our rights of freedom.

My entire point in all my post in this thread is that you cannot legislate your way to prevent these acts especially when MOST Americans want their guns.
The reason there has been no change in the laws is because the voters want their guns.
Not at the rate they occur in the US.
There's never been an airline that hasn't had an accident, but would you rather fly on one that has an average of ten accidents a year or one that has one accident every ten years?
Most voters, including in TX, support gun control. What politicians do isn't exactly what the public wants.

Gun shows do require background checks at shows I've gone to, whenever buying from a dealer. I'm assuming you mean an unlicensed dealer?
And all these background checks may help but the criminals aren't buying a gun legally anyways. All my life growing up, in NYC, no one I knew had guns legally. A criminal, while it may help, they gonna get one by any means anyway.
Its why I don't have the answers, don't know what needs to be done.

These most recent mass shooters bought their guns legally. The Buffalo shooter definitely would've been prevented from buying a gun if we had adequate red flag laws given his history of violent threats against a school.
What about the gun show loophole? From what I've read, a private gun seller, I guess "unlicensed" sense he probably doesn't own a gun store, can legally sell a gun to someone without having to perform a background check.
Not discounting that story but it could've easily been me or one of my relatives in Tops grocery. My Mom goes grocery shopping a lot in the morning and I can't imagine someone live streaming as he shoots her while she's lying on the ground.

She's lucky the intruder wasn't armed. A gun is an "equalizer" as long the other person is unarmed and doesn't have a higher capacity gun, body armored or isn't younger.

And what you keep saying but don't want to admit is that you and the other gun cultists in this country are ok with kids getting slaughtered as long as it means you keep your guns. Because the rest of the world shows how to stop these killings.

Yeah the first paragraph you stated, I said earlier, I think we can all agree that we are all being watched, recorded and tracked. It's no conspiracy no more. Been proven in the news time and time again. I believe they have these measures in place already. Doing something about it is the issue.
And unlicensed sales can happen anywhere. Has nothing to do with a show or dealer. It's just like me selling you one of my guns. I guess it can be somewhat regulated by recording the sale.
But again, yeah the shooters in Buffalo and this bought it legally. But majority of illegal owners just don't. They gonna get them by any means.
I just want to know what changed since when I was growing up til now. I've never seen shootings on a mass scale like this present day. Madness
