Majority of the cops I've seen at my kids schools over the years have typically been someone who looks like they probably had a good 15-20 yrs on the job, lazy, laxxed and couldn't chase a toddler. School safety officers are usually like Top Flight security out here but are armed. Like the Keystone Cops. But they deal with usual school fights and busting kids with drugs.

For an active shooter situation, most of these dudes in a school ain't staying "ready". They hiding and not risking their life for no kids or a job.

That's just my observation from being in tons of schools on the job and with my personal kids.

This. They're there because they aren't qualified or fit enough to be elsewhere. I'm not judging them. It is what it is. And they have more training than the teachers and lunch ladies these politicians say we should arm.

How can a country built on violence defund the arm that perpetrates said violence? Same politicians fake crying about Texas just gave Ukraine billions and gives Israel billions to kill kids

Politicians want to arm everyone because they want the gun manufacturers to get federal revenue. It's why the only gun law politicians will sign is the one that prohibits making your gun in your home.

I'm not referring to the country. I'm referring to the people who believe guns are the only things keeping the government from becoming tyrannical. They should be for defunding the military and police.
