Why dumb? I’m not a vet but it seems like a reasonable start to a solution.
A large majority of these Conservatives are “One Issue” conservatives.
Being this is a predominantly Latino community, they probably are focused on individual issues like, abortion and LGBT stuff and things related to religion with them being predominantly Catholic.

Nah that was George W not his dad. His dad had many flaws but every once in awhile he would show integrity.
I thought the same thing as soon as they said something like "all kids were shot by the shooter" at the press conference.
