Funny thing 2 of my best friends right now are from BOOOOOooooston, we only have like 30 days a year of peaceful friendship...I hate Boooooooston so much I became a Laker fan by default cause they were the only ones able to beat the CellTricks....I even remember you going off a couple years back in the Lakers CellTrics Finals threads....

YET

Here you are with a Go Knicks attitude. Your must sleep with one eye open...

gonna be hard to get Knicks tickets for the rest of the season. I knew Melo wanted to get some shit done before the CBA talks.

Got tickets to Aprils game vs Toronto. That's the earliest available game.

That would be an unstoppable front court. We already have Fields and a PG that is serviceable is easier to find than a Dominating big man.

knicks also just got minny's tpe for about 11 to 14mil...so they can make another trade for another 1 or 2 players that equals that amount. I'm hearing they r targeting kaman or one of the sacramento big men or a team looking save money...i'd want them to sign chris johnson for center but i think the knicks r gonna trade for a center and another big man and flip balkman along with it...

Explain this to me please. So you're telling me any nigga in the NBA making 11-14 million can be traded to us?

You have Steve Nash and Ray Allen as top 10 players? Man. Now i KNOW you're full of it.

Kobe - still going strong after 14 seasons played.
Lebron - still proving he's a top 3 MVP candidate.
Wade - still a dominant offensive player.
Durant - best all around scorer in the nba
Rose - best scoring point, still a playmaker.
Williams - best combination of playmaking and scoring as a point
Howard - is Orlando's anchor, and has shown improvement on O top 3 MVP candidate.
Anthony - second best all around scorer, or first depending on opinion.
Paul - best pure point guard in the nba.
Stoudemire - has turned around the Knicks franchise, proven himself to be a leader. The current best offensive big in the NBA.

That's my top 10, in no order.

Wait... What?
I'm full of it??
How so? :dunno:

Seems you are really only looking at the past year, or 2..... when it comes to stats / or performance.

Maybe you overlooked Steve Nash & Ray Allen's....... entire career.

Check the stats on Steve Nash... here's a snippet:
- This season (2011) he's ranked #2 in assists per game (behind #1 Rondo)
- Don't forget, he's a 7x time All-Star.
- And 2x MVP of the entire League.
- Will be a "1st ballot" Hall of Famer.
- Ranked #7 in NBA History in assists.

Next, check the stats on Ray Allen... here's a snippet:
- Don't forget, he's a 10x time All-Star.
- Will be a "1st ballot" Hall of Famer.
- Ranked #1 in NBA history for 3-point shots made.
- Ranked #3 in NBA history for 3-point shots made in a single game.
- Ranked #4 in NBA history for highest free throw percentage in a single season.

So yeah, I put them in my Top 10.
And for good reason.

Why don't you have duncan or shaq then?

Exactly.

Nash is #2 in assists. This year.
Ray Allen just set the record for 3-pointers. This year.

And I believe D. Howard and D. Nowitski are having a better year than Duncan and Shaq. This year.

"What the problem is?" - Martin Lawrence :D

Ray Allen didn't set a season record, he set an all time record. As it is Ray is the third option on that team. He's a very good player no doubt, but not a top 10 player this season.

Steve Nash plays one half of the game. He's the worst defender of the names mentioned. He's still good, but let's be realistic man.

ny sports writers... we r pursuing camby but portland is looking at several offers. only good news is camby is threatening to retire if he's traded to a team he doesn't want to go too...but he wouldn't mind coming back to ny

Nigga Camby is out for the season isn't he.

C'mon. You "reaching".

Would it be better if Ray made all those 3s this year alone?

I guess 'single season' records are much more impressive than any 'ALL-TIME' records, in your book. :dunno:

How are you gonna say a 10x All-Star and the ALL-TIME best 3-point shooter... IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME... is not a top 10 player??? :dunno:

I just don't get that logic.

Ray Allen surpassed other NBA legends like Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, and MJ this year. (as far as 3-pointers are concerned.)

I'd say he's having a "hell of a year".

------------------------
As for Steve Nash...

He's #2 in assists. As of Today. Right now.
There's no disputing that. :smh:

And he's never been known as a top defender anyway.
Didn't stop him from getting 2 MVPs tho. But I digress.
------------------------

At this point, this is all a matter of personal 'opinion'.
We just disagree. That's all.

I pretty much have everyone on your list mentioned somewhere on my list also, except for Ama're I think.

Anyways,

Peace, bruh.

Put in retrospective. When Jordan played for the Wizards in his final year,Was he considered a top 10 player during that time? How about Barkley in his last year with the Rockets? You understand now? Ok.........basically these guys being a couple of ALL-Time greats don't make them TODAYs greats. Goods but now greats.

OK.

Name 10 players that were better than Jordan... in his final year with the Wizards.

Next ask yourself....
- Where are all of them at today?
- What have they done since playing better than Jordan.... in that single season?
- Are they still even in the League?

There's your answer.

Now ask yourself...

Are they still better than Jordan?

There's your answer.

just jokes fam.
