I knew this movie were going to be on Disney +....I'll be home that weekend watching it off the internet(for free)..
Crazy that they havent dropped trailers for Shang-Chi and Eternals yet.
These two franchises need the most hype but nothing's happening.
It's probably because they haven't decided what to do yet. Neither Black Widow, Shang Chi, or Eternals will recoup the production money spent. All promotional funding will be added lost. Also, none of these titles will drive new subscribers in significant numbers.
The mouse is strategizing how to price the Disney+ release or continue to push dates back.
This is going to be an interesting few months.

It's gonna be a cool movie to watch. But remember, it was made pre-covid with pre-covid expectations with a $200 million budget.
People still haven't shown a great willingness to pay to sit in COVID incubators aka movie theaters.
“Kong vs Godzilla” is supposed to be a litmus test.
The internet provides them a good and cheap way to do their promo.
Release the trailers, keep it on your own website and social media pages, and just announce "coming soon" at the end. Dont do tv spots and billboards.
Find ways to keep people engaged while you figure things out. Thats all Im saying.

The Mouse has a huge marketing and distribution division, not department, DIVISION. They don't gaf about twitter pussys. These are the same idiots who trashed Captain Marvel because Larson said some awkward shit and the movie still broke a billy.
The issue now is the movie houses won't bring in what they would because of COVID and not many people will pay $30 for the streaming service. They know. They don't care. Whatever they get from the next 2 maybe 3 theatrical releases is gravy because the most important thing is keeping the MCU moving forward and interconnected. The TV shows are doing that especially FAWS which is like a movie with the big set pieces.
The important thing is to introduce the new generation of heroes and villains and they're doing a fine job of it.
