I'm so surprised that more leaks haven't taken place with so many of the movies shelved so long
I doubt it. In the comics I think so, not the MCU. But should a normal human, let alone a female one have the upper body strength to impale Corvus Glaive? Granted, she didn't kill him, but still.
I rather have the cannon be that she's taken/been given some version of the serum than accept the fact that a little 5 foot-nothin', 140 shorty is out here dealing one hitter quitters to these big ass linebackers and professional goons- and going toe to toe with superhumans.

Florence Pugh reveals the story behind one of Black Widow's best lines
The joke about Scarlett Johansson's epic superhero poses came from real-life banter between the two actresses.

For a decade, Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff has been dazzling movie screens with epic Avenger superhero poses - but as it turns out, not everyone has been impressed with her skills.
"It's a fighting pose. You're a total poser," Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova, tells Natasha in Black Widow, Marvel's long-awaited first solo film for the superspy Avenger, due out July 9.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Pugh revealed the story behind Yelena's scathing (but delightful) burn and the fact that it came from teasing Johansson in real life.
"When we were in rehearsals, I remember the stunt team was like, 'So Florence, what are we going to do about your pose?' And I was like, 'Oh God, I have to think about a pose!?'" Pugh told THR. "And they were like, 'Yeah, because you know Scarlett's is this." And I was like, 'I know! Who would actually land like that? That's ridiculous!'"
According to Pugh, the stunt team agreed and told her that if her superspy sister actually landed like that in real life, she would break her spine. That got Pugh teasing Johansson about how silly it was. "Eric [Pearson], the writer, was on set and was like, 'Yep, that's going in the script!'" said Pugh.
While the line – which becomes a running gag throughout the film – is a fun moment for fans, it was a little less fun for the Avenger in question. "Our egos just got crushed," joked Johansson. "Florence crushed them in 15 seconds with that comment, and of course, it made it into the script. I'm like, '10 years of work! 10 years of work!'"
Black Widow premieres in theaters and on Disney+ with premiere access July 9.

At long last, Black Widow is now less than one week away from releasing. Given its numerous delays over the past year, Marvel fans had become increasingly desperate to see the movie and had been demanding it drop on Disney Plus and forego a theatrical run. As it happens, Disney elected to to release it in both cinemas and on streaming, with the Scarlett Johansson vehicle being available to watch online through D+’s Premier Access label next Friday.
Audiences hungry to watch the film from the comfort of their own homes are eager to stream it, then, but it sounds like Marvel Studios themselves are less than happy about this arrangement. According to tipster Daniel Richtman, Marvel president Kevin Feige is not at all pleased with Disney over their revised Black Widow release strategy. In fact, the scooper says Feige is “mad” with the studio for the simultaneous streaming roll-out.
The reason why is because Feige was apparently not told about it and wasn’t personally involved in the decision to put Black Widow out on Disney Plus. If this intel is accurate, it would be very surprising. Feige is one of Disney’s most lucrative partners and he’s brought them billions upon billions of dollars over the past decade. You’d have thought they’d have kept him in the loop with what they were going to do with one of his own productions.
However, this sort of snub is in keeping with the outrage we’ve heard from other filmmakers over their movies getting streaming releases. Pixar is believed to be furious with Disney for repeatedly sharing their efforts for free on Disney Plus. What’s more, multiple creatives – like Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve – have hit back against WarnerMedia’s move to share all of its 2021 films on HBO Max.
As studios adjust to the changing cinematic landscape, it definitely seems like they’re struggling to keep both moviemakers and moviegoers happy at the same time. Whether Feige’s pleased about it or not, Black Widow can be found in theaters and on Disney Plus, for a $29.99 additional charge, from next Friday, July 9th.
You would think he would be the first person they talk to about this decision. I have a funny feeling it's the new CEO that made this decision. Disney going to see Fiege leave their asses,if they continue with their bullshit. He almost left their asses before and I could see him having no problem doing it.
