Me and my sons watched this tonight on MAX.

Not going to go into details being I’m probably the last person on this forum who has seen it.

The film picks up sometime after the first film with Aquaman married and has a kid along with trying to balance being a father and King at the same time. Some tongue-in-cheek humor thrown in.

Black Manta returns wanting revenge.

The main plot revolves around climate change. Probably one of the reasons folks didn’t care for the film cuz they don’t like watching media that preaches to them about real world issues.

VFX/SFX looked a lot better than the last 3 DC films, especially the Flash film. Some of it did look “cartoonish”, but it looked somewhat believable.

Overall, it was an entertaining film and it kept you glued to the screen unlike the last DC films Black Adam, Shazam and the Flash.

It’s actually a film that plays out better than expected, it’s not the best DC film, but isn’t the worst. James Gunn I believe is making a mistake not continuing to use the primary cast from this film with what he has coming out. Jason Mamoa has basically laid the foundation on how a live action “Aquaman” should be depicted, along with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as “Black Manta”. Every future recast will be held against what these two actors have done with the characters.

Synopsis

After failing to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta wields the power of the mythic Black Trident to unleash an ancient and malevolent force. Hoping to end his reign of terror, Aquaman forges an unlikely alliance with his brother, Orm, the former king of Atlantis. Setting aside their differences, they join forces to protect their kingdom and save the world from irreversible destruction.

This a very fair and balanced review and analysis.

And I agree

But the string of disasters I also understand Gunn feels the need to a hard reset.

Jason Statham is the B movie king. Surprised Jason Mamoa isn't on the list with Aquaman and Fast X, dude needs a better agent.

You gotta check out Nicholas Cage.

That mofo pumps out like 4 movies a year. He has to be getting paid doing those films.

I have no idea how he manages to film them. There is only 24 hours in a day.

And that cat Ryan Phillipe pumps out low budget films.

I also discovered after watching “Reptile”, Alicia Silverstone has been pumping out films like crazy over the past 4+ years after the pandemic shutdown.

In 1988, Cage began dating actress Christina Fulton, with whom he has a son, Weston Coppola Cage (born December 26, 1990). Weston has been involved in two black metalbands, and appeared in his father's film Lord of War as a helicopter mechanic. Through Weston, Cage has two grandsons born in 2014 and 2016.[172]

Cage has been married five times. His first wife was actress Patricia Arquette, whom he married in April 1995 and divorced in 2001.[173]

Cage's second marriage was to singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. (Cage, an Elvis fan, used Elvis as the inspiration for his performance in Wild at Heart.) They married in Kamuela, Hawaii, on August 10, 2002, and filed for divorce 107 days later on November 25, 2002. The divorce was finalized on May 24, 2004.[174]

Cage's third wife was Alice Kim. They were married at a private ranch in northern California on July 30, 2004.[175] She gave birth to their son Kal-El (after Superman's birth name) on October 3, 2005.[176] They divorced in January 2016.[177]

In March 2019, Cage married Erika Koike in Las Vegas, only to file for annulment four days later.[178] He was granted a divorce from Koike three months later.[179]

On February 16, 2021, Cage married Riko Shibata.[180] Their daughter, August Francesca, was born on September 7, 2022.[181]

Of course I had to support the black indie movie

I was skeptical, but this shit was funny. It stays away from the scandals from Puff and Russell and more so goes at the current state of rap music.

I wonder if some people might feel away or are they happy to be included, it has a bit of a lot of rap history, from Busy Bee vs Kool Moe Dee to Cassidy vs Freeway.

It’s Women’s History month, which means I gotta watch films with Tits and Ass in them.

HaHa!!!

This is an old school, outlaw biker exploitation flick which focuses around a female outlaw motorcycle gang, that I watched tonight.

Whatever you see in a male biker movie, just reverse it for this film with females.

The plot is nothing new. The acting, editing, continuity, sound and camera work all suck. So don’t go into it thinking this is some cinematic masterpiece.

For the InCells, the women in the film treat men like pure dirt, basically the way men treat women. There are images that you find offensive and disturbing.

For the Thirsty, the majority of the women are nothing to look at.

I looked into it and they actually used a real MC club groups for this film.

Synopsis

An all-girl biker gang is burning rubber and taking names as they terrorise their small Florida town. These girls rule the roads and the men they want, and as they initiate new members, they only have one creed to live by: don't ever fall in love.

I watched this one last night on tubi.

This classic film follows the premise and is a combination of “Moby Dick” and “Mutiny on the Bounty”. The Gene Hackman/Denzel Washington “Crimson Tide” somewhat copied this film.

Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster are the main stars and both do a superb job. Burt, as in all his films steals the show with his performance.

The film has a good number of supporting co-stars who are recognizable from the era.

The film is somewhat based on actual events that took place in WW2 in the Pacific.

The VFX/SFX actually looks good, even though they are using models. Attention to detail inside the submarine looks good. I looked it up and this film got support from the US NAVY and had actual submariners/WW2 Vets on the set giving technical advise.

The Japanese NAVY crews are shown and they speak Japanese, what makes their performance interesting is they speak in Japanese with no subtitles. How they filmed their scenes makes it easy to understand what they are saying without having no clue on understanding Japanese.

If you are a NAVY Vet, you will enjoy this film, if you aren’t, the film is still enjoyable.

Synopsis

After Japanese forces torpedo his submarine during World War II, commanding officer "Rich" Richardson (Clark Gable) is placed in charge of the USS Nerka. The crew on board the Nerka -- led by Lieutenant Jim Bledsoe (Burt Lancaster), who had been passed over for promotion when Richardson was brought in -- is openly hostile to their new commander, especially when it becomes clear that Richardson's sole obsession is finding and destroying the Japanese ship that sank his old vessel.

I watched this last night on Hulu. It’s Women’s History Month, so I gotta watch films with women in them. HaHa!!!

I recently watched “Reptile” on Netflix and was curious on what Alicia Silverstone has been up to. I searched her on my cable box and saw she has been pumping out films like crazy since the pandemic shutdown.

I came across this one and watched the trailer. I doubted watching it cuz the trailer made it pretty clear on what was gonna happen…but I watched it anyway cuz Alicia was looking MILF in the trailer.

The film is labeled as a Sci-Fi/Thriller, but it mainly plays out as a character driven thriller.

The movie became predictable as I suspected as soon as Alicia debuted around the midway point. From there the film went downhill and was obviously predictable with the ending.

For the Thirsty. Alicia is not dolled up and looks “Plain Jane” no nudity or anything with her to get excited about.

It’s an interesting film dealing with the current political/cultural/societal climate going on today.

Synopsis

A father raises his son in the wilderness in a post-apocalyptic world. After going out to get medicine for his father, the son defies his father and begins a relationship with a mysterious woman.

It’s Women’s History Month, which means I need to watch films with Bat Shit Crazy women in them. HaHa!!!

I watched this last night. The premise of the film is basically a copy of the cult classic “The Stepfather”, this film just reversed race/sex with the plot.

The film is produced by Marques Houston and Keith Sweat. Marques is heavily involved with the film when you watch the opening credits. It’s a made for tubi film.

Visually the film looks great. They used real actors thru-out who do a decent job with their roles. Marquis does a good job.

Erica Mena (Known for her “Love and Hip-Hop” and Video Vixen gigs”) does a decent job at the start of the film, but falls flat trying to do the “Bat Shit Crazy” part that starts midway thru the film. From that point the film falls flat.

Being its tubi, not sure why it wasn’t graphic with language, violence and sex. I suspect Marques/Keith are religious/spiritual and wanted this film to be modest and not come off like a standard “Hood Movie”.

There are two sequels to this film also on tubi. And there is a “Stepdaughter” film on tubi. All the films are done by Marquee/Keith.

I will watch them all….at some point in the near future and give my review.

Synopsis

After a recently widowed single father moves to a new town, a mysterious woman threatens his relationship with his son and their safety.

I was scrolling around checking “Likes” to put my algorithms as close to what they were before tubi’s update and came across this flick.

The film stars Denise Richards, it’s the main reason I watched it. Also the trailer looked interesting.

The premise of the film has been done a zillion times since the 1950s, what makes this one different is it involves a RV of all things.

If you live in an area of the country that is overpopulated with homeless folks living in those raggedy ass, tan colored RV’s that they all seem to have. You won’t look at those RV’s the same way after watching this flick.

Suspense is barely there, but violence is graphic.

For the Thirsty, Denise isn’t dolled up, but they do make her look MILF. There is no nudity. This film came out before she started her OnlyFans account.

The film does leave off for potential sequels.

Synopsis

Jennifer and her family go on a summer road trip in a used RV with her husband's estranged father and brother. Along the way, they find Samantha and her brother, whose car is broken down on the side of the highway. After driving into the middle of nowhere, an accident leaves everyone stranded in the scorching, isolated desert. The unsuspecting travelers soon find themselves in a fight for survival when they slowly discover the terrible secrets within the walls of the RV.

She is a cutie.

Good chance she will be home for Christmas.

They don’t let attractive chicks do long periods in the joint.

You can’t let good pussy rot in prison.

HaHa!!!

Sidebar... her daddy? Is one the best movie set weapon experts and personally trained her. This was her second movie.

I don't know how that will effect her sentencing
