This flick came up in my recommendations after watching “Jason’s Lyric”. I first became aware of this film back in the early 2000’s being active on a number of porn message boards. Lots of people would have Avatar’s, Screennames, SIG’s and other references to this film in their profile.
I had always planned on seeing it, but forgot about it after logging off the internet. I watched it last night on the road on tubi.
It’s a Horror/Blaxploitation film. Not gonna go into it being I’m probably the last person on this forum who has seen it. I will say the films premise (minus the horror part) has been used a zillion times in films and TV Crime Drama series from the 1970s to present day.
The first hour is a slow burn, but the film somewhat picks up pace in the last 30 minutes. There is graphic violence, but it looks corny with the fake blood that is used. There is topless nudity of BW/WW.
This film has the scene used for the classic “Lou Gossett Jr.” GIF.
The film falls in the category of “Watched It Once, No Interest In Watching It Again”.
tubi has a clean copy.
