Nick Van Axel had a mean post game for an under 6 ft guard. Eddie Jones was a good defender and can still get you 20 pts+ a game. Elden Campbell was really good. That was a really talented squad outside of Corie Blount
Come on man.... Its some solid guys there.......Elden was a solid big man......Horry was a solid big man.....Nick the Quick and Eddie Jones........but man none of them guys were superstars.

again we are in era where players have more control over their careers then ever before; Shaq bolted to Lakers asa his contract was up; Duncan was drafted by a team that almost went to the finals the year before and had an MVP on it; he didnt have to leave; MJ and Magic and Bird didnt have control over their careers in the 80s like the players do now; remember Detroit trading for Mark Aquirre, an all star, to help them get over the top; but remember Barkley demanded out of the sixers; all those teams were stacked bro; its just the owners created those teams; now the players have more control as they should and they are creating the teams; but we wanna be mad at that:hmm:; how silly is that though???
Actually, The Magic for some insane reason were bullshitting with paying Shaq his money...he said it and they acknowledged it on a 30 for 30

His legacy isn't improved though. His legacy right now is "He couldn't win the big one on his own....". "He had to run to the best team to get his ring....". Like I said I really don't give a fuck but you're fooling yourself if you think even when eh gets a ring all of a sudden he's going to be considered one of the best. Talent-Wise he is. But he took more of a hit with this shit then if he didn't do it.

You making KD out to be a bitch. So he's ran by sponsors and his family?

I get what you're trying to do. Trying to make what he did ok. I get it. You're trying to be his spokesperson but you making him sound like a bitch who needs to be guided on what to do.

He did what he wanted to.
If KD keeps playing like this not only will his legacy rise to an all time high. Talking heads will ask if he has surpassed Lebron as the best player in the NBA

I'll give you some reasons.

1) Its a hoe ass move.
2) Makes you look weak.
3) Warriors made you their bitch last year....so you ran to the same squad that made you their bitch.
4) Hurts your legacy.
5) You took less money.

You need more?
What hurts your legacy more... Losing in the playoffs and never winning a chip, or going to GS and winning one or more? A lot of people and more importantly players are bitching and moaning about what he did, but I guarantee you on the humble ALL of them motherfuckers wish the league was set up where they could have done it, or wish they had thought of it first...

Barkley, Reggie, all those motherfuckers talking that shit because it's easy to stand as a righteous judge on something you no longer have the option to do to make yourself seem like a 'soldier' or some shit because they are jealous of Dude, and y'all drinking that damn Koolaid....

KD may have 'lost' a few bills on the front end, but he will damn sure get it on the back end after winning a chip and probably MVP if this shit keeps up, and miss me with that legacy bullshit.... The same people shitting on him for this would have been and were shitting on him for never winning a chip so duck wishy washy motherfuckers and their arm chair analysis which don't mean shit in the grand scheme of things....

Notice how you NEVER hear about the 'other' players Jordan beat during their run? Why, because they are irrelevant as fuck... Notice how the context in which CP3, Blake, etc are reference is usually in a negative way even though they are amazing players!?!?!

At the end of the day, KD did him, and the only people bitching about it are players who are jealous it wasn't them, or niggas sitting home with no concept of the magnitude of this decision OR mad because something like this hasn't happened for their team yet.... All this fake ass outrage is hilarious

K lay played decent D...

If and when he wakes up.... WHEW
No doubt but he's there for his offense too Bruh. He wakes up its a damn sweep, But IF he doesn't, and KD or Steph has a bad game or games, his bad shooting could cost them the series. Funny how people, not you, but a few others are shitting on Kevin Loves performance, and Dude had 18 Rebs, but cop pleas for Klay, and he hasn't hit an open shot since April

Look they had a good squad. But Nick Van Exel, Eddie Jones, Elden Campbell and a young Kobe doesn't equate to Green, Curry and Thompson.

If you asking me I say as long as Durant the best player on the floor like last night and he's not just riding along for a title? His legacy should be in place. Lebron legacy ain't hurt by him joining Bosh and Wade in that shitty ass East. But who defines his legacy? Me or you? Or the majority of the people pissed at what he did and will just say he jumped and road the coat tails of the Warriors to get one?

So, him Going to a team, and being the best player on the team equates to riding coattails? Makes no sense Bruh...

Also, you keep bringing up this legacy stuff, which obviously At this point in his career he could care less would anybody thinks either positively or negatively. But to addressed the question directly to you, who would you rather be the player who people are pisssed off with for a decision he made but has One or more championships, or the dude who people say was a good player but he never won anything so that's a negative against him?

Just like after trying and failing with that 1st Cleveland Squad Lebron decided to take his future with his own hands and clock some backlash about it, but here we are now years later And people are hardly whining about that anymore.

For someone to say, are rather go out a loser than a winner They are either Tender because he didn't come to their team, or straight up lying.

.

When I played basketball, there was a guy from my neighborhood that I used to always play 1 on 1 against. I was 6'3", and he was 5'11", I think he said. I was weighed more, too.

Well, I would post him up, and would score fairly easily. After that about four or five points, I would start shooting jumpers. Some games I'd win, some I'd lose.

He never asked me why I did that, tho'.

Well, years later, we were talking about basketball, and he asked me, "Why did you ALWAYS go away from posting up, when it was obviously working, just to shoot jumpers?"

I told him, "Why would I want to play you, and win a game easily? How much satisfaction can I have in a win I'm SUPPOSED to have? Where is the challenge in that?"

I'm a challenge oriented individual. I enjoy taking on difficult challenges, especially when the reward is high. Its just far more personally satisfying for me to do what is not easy to do.

For some people a W in a W.

But, when you remove personal biases because you like so and so athlete ...

...you can admit that, as a society, the more challenging it is to achieve something, the more respected it is. Period.

If the Celitcs had put out the Cavs, faced Golden State and won the championship, that ain't FAR more impressive than the Cavs beating GS? I'm talking about with the injury to Isaiah Thomas.

Dirk Nowitzki is one of my top 20 players all time now because he beat a team with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh. He had not one guy on his squad who was a legit no. 1 scoring option. Lebron had TWO who had be no. 1 options prior to him.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but shit like that matters to me. It matters to everyone else, too - but people will protect their favorite players legacies no matter what.

...and don't get me wrong, I am not at all saying a team has to be stripped down like the Mavs team that beat the Heat, but when you construct a team that gives you an overwhelming advantage, that is not what SPORT is about. Not to me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I mean, think about why so many people say Barry Sanders >>> Emmit Smith and Emmit got multiple rings!

Could it POSSIBLY be because Barry achieved tremendous individual success with the deck stacked against him?

Oh, wow.

Who would've thought that people would be more impressed by someone who did great things despite the obstacles, than someone who achieved greatness with the red carpet laid out for them, so to speak.
