You cant let a team continuously dunk and shoot layups, bruh. On top of them turning the ball over and not rebounding. The Cavs was practically not trying to get blownout in the first half. As many layups and dunks the dubs got, they missed many as well.

Cavs offense was stagnate with little motion.
I was watching like... It was crazy. And the fucking turnovers. Just damn.

That's why KD left OKC, because they played like the Cavs. Sit around and wait to see what your main guy's gonna do on offense.

If the Cavs lose this series, I fully expect for Lebron to campaign HARD for another All-Star. This one will be athletic, tho'.

I say that because, GS can effectively make it impossible for Lebron to win another ring again with their current roster.

KD basically out Lebron'd Lebron by going to GS.

That roster is kind of fucking scary in terms of offensive potency.

...and it don't help that Lebron is 32.

I hate to say it, but I don't think Kyrie gon' be able to carry Lebron. He got skills, but in order carry a team in the NBA Finals, you have to be a super-beast offensively.

If all 5 guys go to the boards its gonna be a lay up dunk drill for GS...

 it was and they didn't go to the boards...

It's either than or them shooting 80 3's....

My only problem is the Cavs didn't play with the same pace the effort was there early but once they decided to stop the lane drives the 3's start being open on the breaks

Kyrie is ok... It's just the system...I'm probably the 2th biggest Lebron support on here behind King, but I've always address that him being the systems kinda somewhat cripple team vs him being part of the system...

It's just that simple...he's the gift and the curse

Hes their best rebounder...And he becomes even more important when the first two cant play. Dont be mad at me.
Please just stop it; Spurs wasnt beating the warriors with or without Lee; again Cavs are healthy so whats their excuse if they lose the series?

Cavs can't protect the paint at all. No rim protector. Durant can do that every game. No way the Cavs can win this series giving up dunks in the half court offense all game long.

No rim protection.
Here is the more telling stat though; the Warriors missed 15 layups in the first half:eek2:; not took but missed :eek2:not game but first fucking half:eek2::smh:think about that for a min; they should have been up even more than what they were.....

Few highlights here and there, but game one wasnt a memorable one, imho. Mainly because only one team played an entire game of basketball.

Cavs were keeping up with GS, despite LBJ being the only one playing the hardest for most of the 1st half game. But things started to take a turn once the second half started.

I originally said GS in 6, but after that first game, I dont know. LBJ will get his, but if Kyrie, Love or someone else dont provide more help, I got a feeling the Cavs may lose this in 4 or 5.

I think the Cavs issues are more so about defense and play calling/perfect execution. I think they can put up the proper amount of points if they had competent coaches running the right plays to fit their players attributes and also if they took higher percentage shots. They did most of their damage in the paint. They were actually owning GS down low. Mainly LBJ and Kyrie. But then they started taking bs jumpers. The Cavs need to stick to what they know. GS can hit jumpers, yall cant.

The Cavs defense has always sucked, That needs to be address during the off season. Defense, proper bench support, another player that can bang down low like LBJ (Cousins was mentioned by another poster) and at least 1-2 shooters. What they have NOW will easily get them out the East, but they need more to win titles vs GS . Especially since they got Durant.

Man durant going off didn't hurt the Cavs...he can Abe those dunks...the game didn't get blown open until them 3's started falling and Cavs went into a mini slump... That's how simple it is even with the turnovers the dubs wasn't that far away...

Like I said the Cavs didn't of anything differently to counter the addition of KD.

The offense didn't change but we knew that. This ain't the same beast that won 73 games...that y'all beat!!!

I just feel there should be a different method of attack...
Use pick and roll and ISO but how about some motion and movement to help other players get shots and great looks.

Where will the easy buckets for the role players come from?

That's why I say its on Lue...
You do realize that the game could have been uglier right?? You do realize that the Cavs are going to have a hard time stopping the Warriors right? The Cavs are not a fucking motion team period!! They are not about to become this motion team, at the end of the year, playing the best basketball team in the league; They are not about to be this sharing the ball movement team; they are an iso team, with 2 good/great iso players thats it; they play a drive and kick offense, thats it; Again they are very easy to defend in terms of thought process; most teams cant defend because most teams arent that good, and/or they dont have the bodies too; the way to defend that offense is to make LBJ and Irving take tough shots; if they make them then so be it; and limit everyone else; and thats easy to do because no way else on the floor can create offense outside of Irving and LBJ; now back to the real issue; please tell me how you as a coach of the Cavs would stop the warriors on offense?

You didnt either watch the game or you dont know what you are talking about; GS own the paint on both ends period!! I dont want to post the stats because its embarrassing but I will if I have to!!!
Now please tell me how the coaches are going to completely change what they have been doing all season and in the playoffs to make it work now??
Also have you seen the Cavs payroll?? who will they be able to get to change the dynamics of their team for the better??

Don't know, bruh.

GS is going to make it mandatory that they figure it out or else.

Bro', you can't have Steph Curry and Durant on the same squad with Klay and Draymond. Its just too much.

I agree but what they were able to do is just unrealistic; they drafted those 3 which is unheard of in todays NBA; and Steph was constantly hurt; thats why he signed that extremely low contract; thats the only reason why they were able to sign KD; if it wasnt for steph previous injuries and the spike in cap, that would have never happened; its a perfect lucky storm and we will probably never see this type of thing again...

but getting back to Cavs; they wont be able to sign no one; they have a higher payroll than GS right now:lol:; so they have to make some trades to do anything; only thing they have worth trading is Love; and he wont fetch the player(s) that Cavs need....

Forgot about their payroll.

Damn.

Lebron better join GS, then. :roflmao3:

...OR, OR ... trade Kyrie AND Love for another superstar. Who? Put Kobe in a time machine, and have him emerge with the baby fro. Nobody else playing along side Lebron gon' be great enough.

The thing about LBJ that no one is talking about; he wants the type of offense hes in; hes not about to play in a motion offense; he wants to be the center of control at all times; he would never work with GS and how they play; But yes they are gonna have to trade Love if they wanna improve; but heres the thing; for who and for what?? Lets say the Cavs lose this series; right now realistically how would they improve enough to beat GS??
