Neil deGrasse Tyson - Space Aliens don't give a shit about Humans on earth

Ok. Bro. Can't answer a question so now it is "beyond" you.... typical Sammy.

Be blessed bro.
Don't start lying nigga

You didn't even ask me a fucking question lol ask a question and I'll respond, don't bitch up

You are speaking authoritatively and in absolutes on shit that experts do not speak authoritatively or in absolutes about. This illustrates a mindset not receptive to outside ideas. What's left to say? A lot of the shit you saying isn't even right, you kinda just talking honestly.

There are humans that don't give a shit about humans on earth. Usually, it seems the most logical and objective people aren't too caring about other humans. They'd rather be around 'things' and seem to be responsible for most our inventions/tech. Imagine aliens smart enough to develop tech or evolve. Why deal with a species that has a history of violence on every continent since forever? Humans are treacherous and violent as fuck.

Could be some assholes out there too. We don't know how aliens would perceive reality.

I'm with the side that says the best thing to do is for lifeforms lay low. Even if from a society lucky enough to be 100,000 years advanced(for us 100k from the 20th century), what if you run into one with 1million years under its belt? And if you got 1 million, what if some other got 10 million?

We are living in a moment where we can theorize about this stuff and also examine hard data from experiences occurring every day and being documented by literally the best equipment money can buy by the most highly trained operators in the world.

Shit wild.

I am sure there is an alien that is not gonna give a fuck.
I am sure there is an alien who wants to kill and conquer.
I am sure there is an alien who wants to be known.

Why haven't we seen them?

I also want you to understand how far away other planets are.

It isn't just about space (distance) it is the time it would take to get here.

What if there is a society with 300 billion years under its belt? What about 10 trillion years? What about a quadrillion years?

And all we got is grainy pics of some UFOs?

That's another thing that gets me. The thing with other universes or repeating big bangs. As big as our universe is there could be an infinite number. We often just think about aliens from our universe.

Man, this type of shit always intrigued me since I was a child. Made my head hurt back then and still does now.

Most people underestimate the size of the universe.

If the Milky Way galaxy (100k light years, 1x10^18 km) was shrunk down to the size of the continental US (4,583 km), from east coast to west coast, the solar system, the Sun out to Neptune (9.09x10^9 km), would be a quarter of a centimeter (0.25 cm) in diameter. You can do the math yourself. It only requires simple algebra.

That's how small and insignificant we are compared to the universe. If there are advanced beings out there, they probably don't even know we exist.

They are star trek fans?

If they truly would have that directive they would be smart enough never ever to come here.
Smh.

Do I need to get into the fact that for the sake of drama Star Trek's Federation are still space explorers?

If they believed in the directive they would never visit planets that aren't apart of the Federation EVER.

Point blank period.

So knock it off.

I beg to differ as I think you're missing my point. Curiosity and exploration drive scientific discoveries to new depths, and I believe this is true for more advanced lifeforms. Silently observing another lifeform does not pose the same risk as interfering with a species' development before reaching a specific social and scientific precipice could prove detrimental to that society's belief system.

The questions we need to ask are:
  1. Have humans reached the scientific level required to engage with alien species?
  2. Is our current belief system open to reason and willing to accept that the truth of the universe is not what we thought it was?

War also drives scientific discoveries and technological advances. If there's an advanced civilization out there, there's no evidence there is, it's probably a bellicose society. I doubt a truly peace-loving species could advance very far.

As for meeting them, you need proof they exist first.

Yup! That is what we think but I am not talking about just this universe.

I am talking about Aliens... there are infinite universes.

It can be hypothesized that something out there is older and smarter and more advanced.

And ALL of them are avoiding contact with this Earth? Profound.

Universe only 13 billion years old

No. To both questions.

Based on the vastness of the unknown.

If there is intelligent life out there. They cannot reach us.

Because at least 1 society would be with the shits!

There is only 1 Bronx NY in the entire multiverse?

You're using our understanding of space and time to justify your reasoning. What if alien species are not limited to our understanding of such things? How do we know they cannot travel through wormholes, bend space-time, open dimensional doorways, etc.

A point I failed to consider.

Wonderful! This is the ONLY way they could reach us. If you see my other posts I hinted at that.

So they would have cloaked vessels too so we could not see them as well! That makes sense.

Why is some nigga in Alabama talking about he saw aliens then?

They way to smart to get caught out there.

I've been learning a lot about the different types of civilizations, and the technological capabilities blow my mind. We are not even scratching the surface in terms of capabilities. Scientists have reasoned that according to that particular scale, we're about 150-200 years away from being a type 1 civilization, which is the ability to completely harness and control the energy of the world you inhabit. Type 4 civilizations can control and manipulate galactic energies to produce phenomena like Dyson spheres. around them. Just mind-blowing.

Not to rain on the parade but do you know those types of civilizations exist? It may be that civilizations destroy themselves, through war or environmental degradation, before reaching that point.

how do you reconcile all of the accounts deemed by what society agrees are our most qualified arbiters of such things, as well as hundreds of years of witness accounts, with TENT'S PROCLAMATION THAT AIN'T NONE OF YALL SEEN SHIT? How are you squaring that in your mind? Like...what you say cancels all of that out because what, you're...you? This is a serious question.

I think the Ariel school story is extremely compelling. And it's not particularly unique.

You keep jumping to these big picture existential questions that don't really have answers outside the hypothetical, and in doing so you're skipping over what is currently being dealt with in tangible form right in our backyard.

If there is intelligent life out there. They cannot reach us.
how the fuck would you even purport to know this though? This the shit I'm talking about. Our most advanced science minds don't even say shit like this lol

in the vastness of creation there are probably a billion examples of everything you listed here, their opposites, and more shit we ain't even conceived of.

(TENT) All of the accounts have been disproven. No reputable news outlet has reported on this is fact. Everything was debunked as scams. Similar Bigfoot, Loc Ness Monster and mermaids.

(TENT) As stated there is nothing tangible. I am explaining how things could realistically happen and how hard it is for that to happen. It is hypothesis and I am repeating what has already been said by scientists who study in the area. If you don't have knowledge on it. Fine. I am here bro.

(TENT) Correct. In spite of all that we got people who met ET but when asked for proof they have NONE.

Lemme make this clear for you. The things you are stating as truth are not correct. "All of the accounts have been disproven" is just a flat out false statement. Idk if you aren't aware of this or you are aware and are just trolling, but if it's the former, my original statement that you are just talking to hear yourself talk still stands. Hell if it's the latter it stands.

I am not aware of any credible news source confirming the existence of aliens or UFOs or visits. I have been googling all morning. Please enlighten me if you have the time. If not, that is also cool.
