First season felt like they didn't know if they would have a second.

Second season felt like they KNEW they were getting a third. If you haven't finished it, don't expect a neat little end.

Character development was strong: Steve and Dustin was cool; Dustin and Lucas was great; and Hopper and El makes me wanna cry.
Dangit Bob Newby.
So now we see who is the underlings, and who is the boss.
I wonder where the other...ones...are...
I was so for sure that certain people were going to be plants in this...but they weren't.
Found myself gripping the quilt a few times.
I forced myself to stay up to 3 something this morning just to finish it...I mean, why stop at 4 when you can go to 9, right? I'll wait till I see ya'll posting spoiler worthy stuff.

Finished...

So the first two episodes I felt that maybe the show was not going to be able to recapture the magic of season 1..

Boy was I was fucking wrong. Episode 3 was when I was right back all in and I couldn’t fucking stop until I finished.

Man this show is in my top 5. I’m going to put it right behind Game of Thrones as my favorite show on air right now. It just speaks to my soul. Where the first one used ET and Alien as a homage... this one was more Aliens, Jurassic Park and especially exorcist. It perfectly hit that 80s vibe. I also love how it didn’t shy away from racism and it allowed each character to have their moments.

Can’t fucking wait until season 3... it will probably be in 90’s.

I’m looking forward to a Bills write up... but you hit all the main points.

This was a confident season. I mean there wasn’t a character that I didn’t like. Maybe the conspiracy dude... I didn’t think that he was needed but I see why in the end. I really love what they did to Steve. With the first Season, you would have thought that he was going to be a one note character... the bad boyfriend type but they turned him into a full fledged chaeacter and it was natural. Like he didn’t flinch when he was called upon.

I also love how Lucas’s character and his family have a bigger and more realistic role. His little sister was perfect. Something tells me that Lucas’s sister will be important to the story in Season 3. She had a lot of screen time this season.

They're going to have more than 4 seasons,I don't know,if it's going to be with the cast or they going to slowly fade them out to bring in new ones.....

The creators say they are working with a 5 year plan.

I honestly feel like this is going to be their iT when this is all over. Season 3 high school, Season 4 college and Season 5 adulthood.

If they do that then the characters can grow along with the actors.

It's crazy, how I didn't care about Steve in the first season, but they fleshed out his character in the second one...He went from being a semi-bully to a sympathetic character at the end.

I will say this again,Lucas little sister is funny ass fuck....:yes::yes:

I have a feeling we will see Kali again in the near future...

And,they had two perfect songs at the very end....

Steve is going to one of those characters that steal the show. He just turned out to be likable, unlike the Power Ranger dude. Now that he got a men tee he ain't going no where. And I would LOVE if Lucas's sister played a bigger role later.

BUT

I don't want the cast to get too big. Max played a role and filled some shoes - cool. But we can't be introducing folks every season just because they need to do something. It'll be like a season of Love and Hip Hop, LOL.

Know who else had a five year plan?

We will definitely see Kali again. All eleven (or more) will need to get together to stop either the Upside Down, Hawkins, or both. Kali got touched at the end...you saw it...knowing that that was part of the focus this season, I wouldn't be surprised if we Three or Six. I surely was waiting for either Max or her brother to end up being one.

Those last two eps felt like Spielberg directed them under an alias  (wouldnt be surprised since he admits to being a fan of the show)

Man, how dope would that be? It would just be an 80's trifecta come home.

Completely agree.... but it does look like the Show did a good job of bringing in people to replace cast members from Season 1 without making it bloated. Like how Sean Astin replaced Will's dad and how Max replaced Barb. So it is still basically the same number of cast members. I think Season 3 will be the real test for this show. That will probably be the season where we see cracks within the core friendship.

Supernatural.

true...

This is an interesting development.

‘Stranger Things’ Star Charlie Heaton Banned From US Because Of Drug Traces – Report
st_105-106_unit_3374r1.jpg

A UK newspaper is reporting that Charlie Heaton, one of the stars of Netflix supernatural series Stranger Things, was denied access to the US and missed the second season premiere because traces of cocaine were found in his luggage.

The Sun claimed the 23-year-old actor, who plays Jonathon Byers on the series, was caught by drug-sniffing dogs at LAX. Border officials then allegedly found traces of white powder on his personal items. The Sun cited an anonymous source who claimed there was a “very small amount” of what was confirmed to be cocaine.

Heaton was sent back to the UK, forcing him to miss the Stranger Things Season 2 premiere last night. He was not arrested, according to the newspaper, but was detained at the airport and then put back on a plane to London.

Netflix would not comment on the alleged incident or on Heaton’s future on Stranger Things.

I see bodybuilder Kai Green got a part in there. Short stocky MoFo looks huge in Magazines and on TV. He's barely taller that one of the girls in the cast......:lol::lol:

Yo I swore it was that muscle bound nigga in the first episode. I guess I wasn’t wrong. Ya got me hyped about this season I’m gonna binge on it tomorrow.

I think he casted one of the Stranger Things actors in Ready Player One(in a supporting role)

What is this Ready Player One? *turns to Google*

The real reason Lucas couldn’t date Max and why the brother got pissed was because he was black.

But the show didn’t want to say it blatantly.

I see a few of yall caught that too.

That was part of the reason why I thought Max was a number and the brother was a handler or something cause they recognized him from the events of the first season. But as it went on, yeah, that was real apparent. However, I'm glad it didn't go that far cause then it wouldn't be about the plot anymore and just for shock value. But you can't ignore what would have been reality for one of two Black families in Indiana.

Yeap and I love how the show made you know that was the reason but didn’t go to hardcore with it... probably to give the brother a redemption arc next season. Especially because it looks like dudes father is likely the true Villian in that household.

If they Steven can do it... Ready Player One could be one of his greatest achievements. Especially because the book Ready Player One is basically a Steven Speilberg greatest hits special.

shit they have to say it, you could just see how Max brother reacted to Lucas, especially the last episode when he came in the house and went straight to Lucas
