The episode where they thought they were about to get wrecked by the demogorgans and eleven shows up like a beast had me like
She might be one of all time great tv charactersThe episode where they thought they were about to get wrecked by the demogorgans and eleven shows up like a beast had me like
so whatever came of the demogorgan that was put in the freezer? The episode where they thought they were about to get wrecked by the demogorgans and eleven shows up like a beast had me like
shit they have to say it, you could just see how Max brother reacted to Lucas, especially the last episode when he came in the house and went straight to Lucas
so whatever came of the demogorgan that was put in the freezer?
The last episode almost had water in my eyes, almost
If they Steven can do it... Ready Player One could be one of his greatest achievements. Especially because the book Ready Player One is basically a Steven Speilberg greatest hits special.
so whatever came of the demogorgan that was put in the freezer?
Which made it even better when Steve of all people was the guy that came fon lucas’s defense. That was a well earned moment. Also to have Lucas try to fight dude by kicking him in the nuts.
I got a ton of books on my "to read" list. Guess I need to add one more
season 3...
We already know Dustin and Lucas is going to be tested next season. First season it was three and one...this season it was two and two...next season it might be one and one and two ( or one and one). We are going to see these four boys grow up for real through this show. Their dynamics, their love, their friendship...all of it. What I do like is that race was never a thing between the four them, (except for Winston), but Lucas is already the only one that fights. Wrist Rocket? No one else is a defender...except for Steve. Lucas is a fighter, and that is going to play out I think.
And that bit about the step daddy being a real villain? Why I get the notion that he might beat Max momma...maybe he might get 'possessed' by the mind-flayer next season...
...which brings me to another thing. The physical manifestation seems to be stuck in the Upside Down - we saw it when El closed the gate. But - this ethereal version that was expelled from Will's body, where did it go? It wasn't the physical being? Was it? Is it still in the Rightside Up? I wonder why it didn't try to jump into Nancy when she was outside - it would have been prime because she wasn't in the hot house. Does there have to be a connection to the Upside Down for the flayer to inhabit or is there something else going on that the Duffer's have planned?
season was pretty good
still i think they need to explain why/what is actually going on
and they need to explain why/how these kids have powers in the first place
So the experiments CAUSED the powersI thought that’s was pretty clear. They were conducting mk ultra experiments in Hawkings lab and the kids ended up with powers.
Everything is happening because 11/El/Jane accidentally tore a hole in space time to a alternate universe, or opened a gate to the upside down.
So the experiments CAUSED the powers
i was thinking they found kids that already had powers and were experimenting on them
Here ya go....Can someone make a gif of the end of episode 5 where Will was on the ground shaking. That face he was making.

The Development of Dustin and Lucas
When you have Will possessed by a demon and his best friend Mike helping out, it’s kind of easy for Lucas and Dustin to get overlooked. But in Stranger Things 2, they each play an expanded, worthwhile role. First is Lucas, who is falling for the new character Max and thereby bringing in more people to help them defeat the town’s evil. We finally get to meet his parents too, as well as his sister, who is so good she better play a larger role in the coming seasons.
Meanwhile, Dustin is also falling for Max, and finds a new pet named Dart, a little creature that turns out to be a baby Demogorgon. Now, granted, that whole storyline feels a little forced and him lying to his friends about Dart isn’t exactly in character. But it gives Dustin some much needed responsibility and drive throughout the season.
So take those two characters, put them together, and it just works. They’re rivals but also friends. They’re on the sidelines, but make themselves indispensable. They should be feuding, but they work it out. They take two roles that could have been nothing and make them into something the audiences loves to watch.
We Didn’t Love...
Max and Billy
Max and Billy (Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery) are two other new characters in Stranger Things 2. The step-siblings are new in Hawkins and they’re both introduced for very specific purposes: Max is there to add some much needed girl power to their group and to give Dustin and Lucas something to talk about. Billy is the only human bad guy, even though he’s basically only bad to Lucas and Steve.
Of the two, Max is obviously better. Sink creates a strong character who is very much independent and a worthy foil, it’s just that the season doesn’t give her much to do. She’s the new girl Lucas and Dustin like, but she doesn’t really believe what’s going on until half way through the season. Max is cool, but she’s a bit of a letdown.
Billy, however, just kind of stinks. He basically serves no purpose on the show except to make things hard for Max and some secondary characters, sometimes. This is Stranger Things, for crying out loud. If you’re a character on Stranger Things that doesn’t get to encounter any stranger things, did you really Stranger Things? I don’t think so.

Thanks my dudeHere ya go....
Should of just said Billy, because Max was more productive than her step-brother.

I thought there was no way this show could live up to the first season. Wow was I wrong!!! Season two was even better. I'm just mad it's over. Great show!
