There is definitely more story to be told about the experiments. With the introduction of 008 and El’s mother potentially having similar, but weaker, powers there is a lot there.

My theory is that the parents were experimented on, ended up with powers and passed them on to the kids.

I’m actually hoping for a spin off for that and they keep stranger things about the kids/Hawkings.
^^^Thats how it works..allegedly. the "powers" are vastly expanded mind/brain capabilities from all the splitting & compartmentalization.
they probably only gonna allude to all that deep and intergenerational shit tho

It was dead.
who knows, they showed us that shit for a reason after mentioning over and over the demons like the cold. this is some supernatural shit after all

So, the demigorgns feasted on everyone else in the building but the Dr. only got two superficial bites and survived? Fuck it, it's a tv show.

Cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD) is a skeletal disorder characterized by open fontanelles (soft spot), small or absent clavicles (collarbones), and multiple dental abnormalities. It is a genetic birth defect caused by mutations to the RUNX2 gene. It occurs one in every one million births. It can be passed from an affected parent or can be a random mutation. Manifestations may vary among individuals in the same family.
