I just want to elaborate on the light saber styles.
vader is unable to use most styles since Kenobi sliced him up. He just becomes the battering ram of power we see now.
however at the height of the Jedi there were several Masterr proficient at all styles except Vaapad. Anakin knows them all as well.
the “American ninja” style (as it was called here) is an actual saber style. During the original trilogy it was not shown because (at least known to the Sith) only Palpatine was alive to do them. You saw what he did to Savage and Maul…
we learn later that other Jedi survived the empire to bring those styles back, but the (understood at the time)remaining force users (Luke primarily) only knew the broad sword style fighting and primarily what we saw in the originals.
The movies do very badly with explaining this concept, and it implies that the flowing sabers styles are made up when they’re just primarily extinct. Until Ashoka and the other survivors return to the fold at least.
