I think Treadwell will be the better pro. Wonder why he slipped.

We'll see. I think teams were scared Treadwell can't separate from defenders on the next level. I think that was the concern with Doctson for a while too until he ran a 4.5. Plus he makes circus catches.

would have liked this dude nkemdiche on the raiders, but the locker room culture isn't strong enough (yet) if he starts going sideways off the field...az has a strong front office and locker room leaders

I feel that but that's how we got good in the first place drafting the line not this offbrand stuff. you can have all the shit in the world but if your line is ass like ours was your qb breaks his arm, shoulder, knee and goes on injured reserve

Y'all don't have a second round pick?

no guarantee he would be there. grades mean nothing dudes drafting apples and shit so who knows. we secured who we really wanted..who i knew we would get all along while everyone said we'd take a qb. i knew we weren't drafting no damn qb we drafted defense. now we got buckner to go with armstead and can make some noise. the other glaring huge need was the line. that line was complete ass. it was ass with retread players and we lost the 2nd best person on the line. its a no brainer to me. we can get a linebacker or some shit in a later round. that line was complete ass. total.

No but we need 2 guards remember? Boone is no longer here. We need an actual fresh prospect good potential not a medical redshirt football player on the offensive line.
our guard position was the position i was worried about the most almost because we assume that 1 of the 2 pan out to be studs, we still need another. now we should have at least a pretty good line because the chances of jordan devey being trotted out there to start for us for half the season is now out of the question barring injury.

All that sounds good, but why trade back up to get this dude? You trade up to get impact players who slide farther than you thought they would, not a guard who you could get in round 2-3. And if not him, then a similarly rated player.

Yeah....... I guess if he is like Fredericks and is a perennial all pro guy it's worth it. I hope he is for y'all sake.

I don't get it either man. It's literally some guys here who have potential to be all pro guys.

It get crazier for Tunsil:

Here's Laremy Tunsil Admitting He Took Money At Ole Miss Before Getting Abruptly Hustled Off Stage

After Laremy Tunsil fell to #13 in the draft, texts purporting to show conversation with Ole Miss staffers about them paying his rent popped up on his Instagram. The posts were deleted, along with Tunsil’s account, and given when they were posted, it’s highly unlikely that he posted them himself.

In his post-draft press conference, reporters asked him about the texts and whether or not he took money at Ole Miss. Two minutes in, someone asks him straight up if he took money and he responds “Nah, I wouldn’t say that.”

But then, at 2:45, after admitting the texts were his, someone asks: “Was it an exchange between you and your coach, for money?” and he says “I’d have to say yeah.” Then, during another question, a woman abruptly comes onto the stage, insists that Tunsil has no more comments, and shuffles him off, where he was briefed behind a door.

We’ll update this post when more information becomes available.

I'm leaning that way to get him. You talking best pass rusher in the draft. It would be stupid though. Real stupid. I almost hope someone takes him before we pick.

With the suspensions they've had, they can't draft Spence.

that's the problem. not with you but with how we view the draft. people have folks on their big boards. it don't really mean shit. dude is an all american stanford educated mauler guard who's incredible at run blocking.
chip kelly loves to run the ball more than he even loves to pass.
he can develop into a good pass blocker but he can start right away if he can knock people on their asses and get forward, which his all american status says he can.

we had nothing to lose. the line was ass because of injury and retirement.

We'll see. I think Chip needs guards who can move. That aint exactly Garnett's strength

And i bet yo azz was probably praising the AJ Jenkins pick too

1st he can move. he's a mauler. he moves forward. not side to side or back but forward he's an all american.
2. i had no idea who jenkins was all i knew is he ran a 4.3. i never believed in dude. i was always wait and see.
