Here's Laremy Tunsil Admitting He Took Money At Ole Miss Before Getting Abruptly Hustled Off Stage

After Laremy Tunsil fell to #13 in the draft, texts purporting to show conversation with Ole Miss staffers about them paying his rent popped up on his Instagram. The posts were deleted, along with Tunsil’s account, and given when they were posted, it’s highly unlikely that he posted them himself.

In his post-draft press conference, reporters asked him about the texts and whether or not he took money at Ole Miss. Two minutes in, someone asks him straight up if he took money and he responds “Nah, I wouldn’t say that.”

But then, at 2:45, after admitting the texts were his, someone asks: “Was it an exchange between you and your coach, for money?” and he says “I’d have to say yeah.” Then, during another question, a woman abruptly comes onto the stage, insists that Tunsil has no more comments, and shuffles him off, where he was briefed behind a door.

We’ll update this post when more information becomes available.

Ok I don't care about his knee draft Myles Jack tomorrow and that's an order

My thing with that is how far does he drop.....who's dos ay he's even a 2nd rounder at this point? I feel like if you'd take him in the early 2nd then someone should've taken him in the late 1st. Especially since you don't know how long he'll play. I think i'd risk that wait game with him.

With the suspensions they've had, they can't draft Spence.

I don't feel like you should let that stop you though if you feel like someone is a player. Gregory we should've saw coming. Lawrence was just some shit that happens on most teams. I just have a hard time passing up a defensive end pass rusher when we need one. Like you'd take Jack and his fucked up knee which is a risk but you won't take Spence who at 19 was popping pills?

Nah he ain't making it out the 2nd. This is a top 10 talent here.

He is healthy they are worried about some degenerative shit that MIGHT happen

Same thing that hurt Leary on draft day

Same shit that hurt that RB the Cowboys liked last year Ajayi

Only Jack is a beast on the field and will be ready for camp fuck that make the pick

that's the problem. not with you but with how we view the draft. people have folks on their big boards. it don't really mean shit. dude is an all american stanford educated mauler guard who's incredible at run blocking.
chip kelly loves to run the ball more than he even loves to pass.
he can develop into a good pass blocker but he can start right away if he can knock people on their asses and get forward, which his all american status says he can.

we had nothing to lose. the line was ass because of injury and retirement.

I have to do my research on our pick
I like that we drafted a Guard but...
Did we really need to trade up that far for him ???
I thought Cody Whitehair was supposed to be the best guard in the draft & he had not been taken yet
I guess we will see how good he will be

Man Lawrence had character concerns at Boise State as well. Go read his pre draft write up. I'm cool on that 3 years in a row

Let's let that cool off a couple drafts

That's what i'm saying though. Ayaji fell to what like the 4th round? Hell he was a dude who the Cowboys wanted but they were scared of his knee I believe. Leary went undrafted.

With Jack.......if I can get even something like only 5 years from him i'd take it. But I don't know his medical reports. From my understanding i've heard people say they are afraid he can't play long or i've heard people say he could have a full career. No one seems to know.

Most NFL-Ready: Joshua Garnett, Stanford

Best Run-Blocker: Joshua Garnett, Stanford

Best Pass-Blocker: Christian Westerman, Arizona State

Best Potential: Christian Westerman, Arizona State

Biggest Bust Potential: Rees Odhiambo, Boise State (injury)

on top of seattle and arizona not being able to get him to help their line.

Whitehair is better for a zone blocking scheme, which Chip Kelly runs. Garnett to me is more of a Harbaugh style guard (straight ahead, power run blocking). Like you said though, we'll see.

No. What they saying
Screengrabs of him asking coaches for money for Moms bills. Reporters asked him about it and he verified it was all real. A handler saved him from further damage by ending the presser when he kept being asked about it.

They can do damage control and say he wasnt sure what they were referring to or say he thought they were still asking about the video since he hadnt seen anything at that point other than that. But its pretty bad. Dude was nervous and sweating like a murder suspect on first 48.

Yeah he is playing

He has some long term concerns that scare teams

They say one day he might need micro fracture surgery
Is that time frame less than 3 years or more?Or was everyone over blowing the whole thing?I would love to have him in Dallas.

Jimmy Sexton is Tunsil's agent. Dude is the agent for several members of the Dolphins organization. He made the org pick his guy. But dude needs to get fired for his tweet regarding the weed. That shit was so off base.

This is what I've been reading too
We just signed that O-linemen in free agency (Beadles) who is good in a zone blocking scheme
Why would we draft Garnett over Whitehair ???
He doesn't seem to fit our Offense

“This Myles Jack stuff is getting blown way out of proportion," one NFL executive said. "I checked with our medical guys, again, and this stuff just is not true. It's not something we would be worried about. Some agent or some team must be behind it. We're not taking a linebacker there (in the first round), but if we were we wouldn't have any problems taking him. We passed him without any real issues. This kid is a great player. His change of direction is awesome. This is getting totally blown out of proportion."

Another high-ranking NFL executive: “Disgusting. There was a (different) leak last week about a top prospect and a procedure he had. The fact that the procedure happened in high school was buried in the report.”

Another personnel exec: “If you get a feel for who has killed Jack for his medical, let me know. That kid is a player. We hope he falls to us.”

Yeah, this is fairly ugly and nefarious, but unfortunately it comes with the territory. Jack's agent, John Thornton, posted some compelling video of Jack doing some fairly super-human things on Twitter.

That's a interesting take on Jack.
Man..

DRAFT HIM AT 34 FUCK THE BULLSHIT

If he's healthy i'm down. You can't keep wasting 2nd round picks. Them dudes should be atleast starters for you. With the 3rd pick in the 2nd round......this dude should be a day 1 starter. If you telling me he's starting the season off on PUP.....i'm not with that shit. If he's good to go i'm down.

The funny shit about that article is they have "execs" saying they hope he falls to them o they can take them....yet none of them took him.
