Nah they dont. He would get so many open lanes because of Klay and Steph, it would be stupid. But I think he would be devastating more on defense. Him and green and klay that shit would be crazy. He wouldn't have to spend no energy at all; just like KD. KD was so good on defense for them. People forget that. And G plays very good defense. All this talk about his offense but people forget hes an excellent defensive player. Klay will be klay by middle of next year. Personally I don't think steph injury was that bad. I just think GS was being extra cautious.....

My original post said, "Bad teams Don't make the playoffs" but let me recant. 10 out of the Nuggets 20 losses have come to non-playoff teams. The GREAT teams, even though they may not get up for every team, still win those games and can even load Manage if they wanted. The Nuggets aren't great yet which is why their ceiling is the Conference Finals


But I agree, that uninspired ball they play BECAUSE they have a fucking UNINSPIRED "Leader/Superstar" in Jokic. Dude just puts up numbers and the team goes as he goes. Like @largebillsonlyplease said, Can't win with him as your best player. I defended Joker but I'm done. Sick of these niggas man. The shit they say after losing to the bad teams annoys me cuz it ain't like they're Championship bound against the good teams either. They can play with anybody but they can also be beat by anybody. And Malone is an awful fucking coach. Nigga can't coach with a lead in an individual game or even a series lead. Trash.

I'm going to sit back and hope these niggas get it together and show why I have had so much confidence in them. So I'll either be watching them thrive or go out like some bitches. We'll see.

I agree with you on Joker, he can't be the alpha dog on this team. The defense is suspect, one of the Denver broadcasters said they've given up the most points of any team in the past 10 games or so.

Also Murray has not taken his game to the next level as I thought. He was balling in the playoffs last year but it hasn't carried over this season.

Denver need to package Murray and try to go after Bradley Beal next year.

It's funny because all the Nuggets fans and media celebrate the numbers Jokic and Murray put up together but once teams key in and stop that one-two punch, the Nuggets don't know what to do. It just becomes numbers and regular season wins but not playoff winning basketball. Clippers exposed the fuck out of that. I hate their reliance on the 2 man game. I'd love for them to trade Jokic and i'm not joking. Malone gets fired and MPJ starts. Gary Harris has been below average for the last 2 seasons.

They were statically one of the best defensive teams for pretty much all the first half of the season. Now they are one of the worst. And turnovers they are the worst since All Star. I jokingly talk shit about those Rockets but I for real don't want to see them in the second round. With the Nuggets perimeter defense, the will get eaten alive and Russ will be bullying the fuck out of Jokic in the post. Not only cuz that's what Russ does but Jokic won't present any type of resistance. My nigga will be "rocking the baby" all night.

I had them as the 2nd best team in the west at the beginning of the season. I thought they would take the leap. But clearly something is missing. I think during the offseason they should try to get Beal. By the way @Amajorfucup tried to tell the world Booker was better than Beal I'm sure Beal is proving that not to be the case.........

And if your eyes dont tell you that by watching then feel free to check all the measureables, 2nd level stats, and data that say so too. three%, win share, FT, FG%, assists,.... Booker has advantage. And hes 4 years younger. Also, the original discussion was me schooling someone who told me Beal was top 3 SG and i maintained he was top 10 trending toward top 5.

Oh, and one of these guy made the all star game this season... And it wasnt Beal.

As I mentioned in my previous post, with the cap being raised the money will be the same but go head and stand on that hill.

Beal averaged 26 and 5 last year but he's borderline.. Beal a top three Shooting Guard in the league. He'll get the max from the majority of the league

Beal is a top 10 SG and trending toward top 5... he isnt nor will he ever be top 3.. And im a Beal fan who has seen him play more than most. And yea, he will get the max pretty much anywhere.. Im just saying he'd be a fool to turn it down now and wait two more years for it. Just doesnt make sense my man.
