Why is it OK to compare a rookie Wemby to LeBron? But LeBron had to come back from 3-1 in the Finals in Year 13 before the media started the fake "GOAT debate"? Prior to that, comparing LeBron directly to MJ was met with scorn. There are threads on this board highlighting this. As good as Wemby is playing, his season isnt as good as LeBron's rookie season and he didnt have to deal with half the shit behind the scenes, 18 year old LeBron had to. Context matters.
They delt with different things
Wemby is in a foreign country
Lebron played for the team in his home state
Lebron also had a more talented team but more media scrutiny
Wemby just turned 20 so he is only about a year older

He's been cleared from that shit.

So, that won't happen. It's what it is.
Damn that is what we let slide in 2024 now :puke::puke::puke:

Wemby playing in a foreign country like the US isnt the obstacle you're making it to be. Not like he's in some war torn country with a language barrier. We roll out the red carpet for immigrants here and it shows in how he's covered. Wemby's team has 4 more wins than the Pistons right now. He can stuff a stat sheet and has talent, but he hasnt displayed any of the intangibles LeBron did as a rookie. Including LEADERSHIP. Bron came to a team with an all star and a bunch of hungry young guys that hated on him before he was even drafted and didnt want to defer yet he was able to became the de facto leader of the team by the end of the year. His head coach at the time Paul Silas called it his most impressive season years later, given the circumstances. And this is with the media scrutiny, MJ stans, Kobe stans, and outside voices hating, they won 35 games. LeBron was considered an all star miss when he wasnt selected as a reserve that year (only Jordan and Kobe were posting 20-5-5 seasons), and he finished 9th in MVP VOTING. Wemby wasnt really considered for the all star game and I doubt he's gonna get MVP votes. And that year difference in age makes a huge difference. When LeBron was Wemby's age he was posting 27-7-7 and leading the league in minutes. Wemby is on a minutes restriction. He is having a Rookie Of The Year campaign, but let this mofo get some wins under his belt before we start the Bron comparisons. Eventually, he's gonna have his own arch but even with the eyeball test he's not more impactful than the GOAT was at his age.

The Celtics are beating teams by an average of 22.1 points over their past 11 games, the best point differential over a win streak of at least 10 games in a single season in NBA history, according to Elias Sports Bureau research.

Boston has outscored teams by 29.8 PPG over their past six games, a span that includes two 50-point wins, something that only two other teams have done in an entire season. That's the best point differential over a six-game span in NBA history, passing the 1971-72 Lakers (+28.3), who won a then-record 69 games.

Celtics demolish Warriors, set NBA all-time record with third 50+ point win in a season

Celtics 140
Warriors 88

BrickMuse is needed to calm down the over-hype of Statmuse.
Like the Ying Yang twins

Statmuse ain't no different tho, it's a Golden State Warriors homer account, and they've posted fake stats before. All them pages are trash to me and push agendas.

If the Diddler goes to jail

He was cleared
.... because the Diddler was cleared in the corrupt court systems of men, but the Basketball Gods don't care about such small matters.

This young squad might have to sacrifice a title (or Finals run) to appease the Gods for not at least suspending this dude during the investigation.

He has faced no punishment. Not even his name dragged in the mud. The God's won't stand for that.
