The front office surprised him and went to the funeral. They don't have a problem with that kind of time away. It's when he goes to the tennis tournaments in Miami, watches tennis all day, then says he can't play that night . Thats the shit they're tired ofDidn't his pops pass recently? Well you guys had a guy who in 4 seasons only missed 18 regular season games TOTAL. And never sat out of a playoff game, he played 87 straight (Bosh missed 9 playoff games from 2011-2014, Wade missed 1) and you managed to run him off.
Jimmy in his first season as a Heat missed 24 regular season games alone. He missed 18 in 2023 before you guys made your NBA Finals run. Now his regular season games missed in 6 seasons as a Heat is 124 games.
Jimmy also missed all 5 playoff games in 2024. Maybe you guys now appreciate a work horse that shows up every night whether its regular season or playoffs huh?

Bron always plays. He doesn't shy away from the media like jimmy. Jimmy rarely deals with the local media and Bron and wade talked to them everyday.

They had a thing for Dragic who was one of jimmys favorite team mates, he didn't show up for that either.
They gave jimmy more freedom than wade and lebron as far as travel and hotels
