it was stupid they kept asking Kambosos about rematch, of course Kambosos wants the rematch, this was his 1st 8 figure purse and aint no other fight out there that's gonna get him anything close to the rematch

Found it on YouTube. Watched it closely. No rematch needed. Snoozer for sure, but he kept his distance and won rounds safely. He won’t fight everyone like that, but it was smart to ensure the win. His jab is crisp, good angles and he slides out of his work well. True, I don’t see much power so he’d have to beat Tank like this, particularly round 8–that’s how he gets a UD against tank. Shakur beats Haney, based on power and connects. Shakur throws better and more flurries.

I hope so. Fuck Teo. He should've fought Haney instead of trying to little boy him and dicking him around about making that fight. What happened to him couldn't have happened to a sorrier shithead. Fuck him and his punk ass daddy.
Damn

Idk him enough to co sign that i do know i was proud of him when he beat Loma cause he fought a very disciplined fight and stuck to the game plan.

He was feeling himself after but imagine being that age and being on top of the world like that We all woulda been feeling ourselves also

At the age we are we say this person shoulda did this he stupid for doing this but imagine all the shit ppl coulda, woulda, and did tell us to do when we was that age

Fuck his father tho

That was skill at its best. Say what you want but that was a helluva fight!
Helluva fight? Lmao that shit was a snoozefest something we coulda done without

Happy he won cause he's black but he needs to entertain to step in the big leagues he never gonna sell a PPV fight at this point if he continue with these boring ass fights

He's the undisputed champion yet nobody will care to go to his fights unless he fights another big name

You’re both correct.

It wasn’t a helluva fight, but it was a helluva performance to nullify everything that Kambosos wanted to do.

The defensive and boxing skill that Haney displayed was very impressive.

Regarding the fight being a snoozefest. If one was looking for explosive action then yes it was. We all know Haney doesn’t have power like that and his jab neutered Kambosos.

Bottom line, muthafucka’s don’t wanna pay to see you jab a muthafucka to death no matter how impressive it is.

Regardless whether he has knockout power or not, the paying public needs to seen more and bigger punches from Haney for them to pay to want to see him.

He had maybe three or four solid punches in the fight, the other most impressive punches were jabs. Good I mean great jabs, but still jabs.

Not taking anything away from Haney because it was an impressive performance, but they paying public needs to see more before they pay to see him fight.

I disagree with you there. They will pay to see him lose. But, that was a got damn clinic. Very few people can do what he did last night. He is a master, like a Shaolin monk. Dude is a bad motherfucker. He did to Kambosos what Teofimo did to Lomachenko. He shut that ass down. Realize this is the top of the hill motherfuckers. Everybody up there has fought years as amateurs and have seen a lot of styles. What he did was remarkable.

What he did was remarkable and you might be right about people paying to see him lose.

But he’s not well known enough or hated enough for people to really root against him.

I could be wrong though. :dunno:

I don't know man I guess I'm different. I like watching my favorite MLB teams pitch shut outs.

I like watching my favorite NBA teams win by blow outs.

I like watching my favorite football teams run mofuckas off the field.

And I love watching my favorite fighters fight a very disciplined fight and win without taking much damage.

Haney's already made over $30mil in his career at 23 so far but it may be hard for him to get to that next level without playing heel and really getting ppl to pay to hope to see him lose cause he doesn't have enough of a fanbase to pay to see him win and not likely to get there, Shakur is in the same situation from a business of boxing standpoint

Haney miss a big opportunity to built his fan base by not signing with Mayweather instead going with Eddie Hearn and the dazn..

I agree he fought a great fight but he was boring ass hell despite his opponent being the champ he was trash if u can't put on a performance when the lights are bright again a shitty fighter what are u gonna do against a good fighter? That's right be even more boring

Haney fought an excellent fight and did excellent job against a good fighter!

Against a shitty fighter Haney would’ve taken more risks and knocked him out. He respected Kambosos speed and power which is why he couldn’t and didn’t go all out.

Kambosos wasn’t trash, everything that he tried to do was nullified by the jab and he was outboxed. Everything that he tried was blocked, missed our he got hit in return.

I think the issue is that you\we needed to see more offense has shedder punches from Haney. And with that I agree.

It’s nice to bob and weave, avoiding punches and jab. But at some point we need to see more punches that actually do damage other than a jab.

We hear you and we agree. But in football terms, we don’t want to see a game end 7-0 and the only points scored we’re by the defense on an interception.

We’d be happy if our team won, but that’s not an exciting game.
