This needed to be damn near half the season.
Just have these characters come in and out over a season. Do this like a real comic series.
Have a main limited series called crisis for 4/5 nights once a week then one episode each a series.
Then make sure you got guest spots on each series finale
done.
When,they first announced this last year I said they should make every episode of each show about the crisis.
Have the early episodes set up the event.
Have the middle episodes about the event.
Have the last 5 or 6 episodes about the consequences of the event.
Instead,they rather have all these guest appearances on 5 shows...it makes no sense at all.
