He can step back and take as many breaths as he'd like fam. In fact, i'd like him to take a step off a pier somewhere, but I digress.

I just truly think he's in over his head. Stevie Wonder could take this same team, and at LEAST come in 4th.

His tactics are pure rubbish. I have 3 Toffees in my circle, and they are miles and away enjoying life under Roberto Martinez. There's something to be said about good attacking football, something Everton fans have painfully had to wait a decade to witness.

I'm not saying Moyes is a bad person or anything of that nature, he's probably a great guy, and anyone coming in will feel the pressure without a doubt, but I can think of several managers with top CV's in world football, that could've filled Sir Alex's shoe's a little more than this man.

Klopp, Guardiola, Mourinho, Martinez, Laudrup, Bielsa, man i'd even throw Gus Poyet into this pot. (just kidding....... or am I?):smh::smh:

Let me ask you this, how many teams can we name in the HISTORY of world football, that have won anything consistently with this "get wide and cross" mantra?

I've tried to think of one and I can't.

If we go get some of the players that the papers and media are suggesting we buy, they'll be subject to the exact same nonsense that we see now, so time is of no matter. He can have all the time in the world, a 300m war chest, and still execute the "get wide and cross" philosophy he attained at Everton, and thinks will work at a club like United.

Gundogan... "get wide and cross"
Reus... "get wide and cross"
Kroos.. "make a tackle, then get wide and cross"

It's madness. RVP has every right to be frustrated.

I was about the say the US national team likes to play wide and cross but then realized it didn't equate to them winning anything so there goes that.

but you have something there...especially since you follow them more closely than i do. but if he does stay and spend this summer....this will be the focal yr. because then it's, he has his own players now the fit his system so he has to produce and show they can truly compete.

Surprised? Fuck Madrid, lol.

:lol::yes:

I know he's not retiring from football, but is Puyol done with international play as well or he'll be out there in Brazil this summer?

Valladolid hadn't won a match in 5 straight games until today.:smh:

And what's worse is they'll probably continue that trend after beating Barca today.

Arsenal put up a good fight against Bayern, just like last year.

In this other football thread, everyone is annoyed at how much of a cunt Robben is. Lol.

Yea theyre both big and clumsy.

Kompany is such a beast though. Kompany and Thiago Silva are the best CBs in the world

Poor Iniesta probably had to take a full body ice bath after that one. Couldn't catch a break at all.

I am a fan of German keepers, so I guess I can be behind this signing.

How about they get some central backs though.....seriously. Still would like Valdez to stay but everyone can't stay with the club forever. Sucks for Pinto tho
