i didn't realize that busquets stepped on pepe....just saw the clip

all i can say...........

:lol::lol::lol:
fuck pepe

Fuck Pepe. He deserved every bit of that shit. For one he and Cesc shouldn't have flopped on the ground. Also he fuckin stepped on Messi's hand a couple years back. What goes around comes around.

That bitch was checking himself for blood so he could go complain to the ref.

Dirtiest player in the world. I remember him kicking the back of some player who was on the floor(twice), then he proceeded to hit someone in the face in the same incident.

Always felt that Valdes didn't get the credit he deserves for how good he is in goal. Was this going to be his first World Cup being the #1 keeper? I know Iker usually got the nod for Spain.

You're playing against 10 men and a defender in goal replacing the keeper......why are you not taking some shots from distance instead of these little touch passes through 5 bodies?

:smh:

was gonna be his first World Cup, but Valdes was gonna be #1 because the mustache doesnt want change, smh.

Valdes or De Gea been the best Spanish keepers the last 2 seasons.

Oh look here comes another draw between Barca and Atletico.:smh:

I get the feeling Barca will wear them down.

Them losing Diego Costa is huge for this matchup and the league. It looked like a hamstring injury and those can be a bitch to recover from. Pique will be alright with some rest and ice.

Bayern looks strong. It's only a matter of time. Man U needs to capitalize on those counterattacks.

That was a bad game by Messi; Iniesta and Busquets were Barca's best players and Alexis probably should have started. With tight defenses he's really good at recovering the ball when the passes are inevitably blocked.

Golazo or mistake by Pinto?

wonder strike... he couldn't have hit it any sweeter. I wouldn't blame any keeper for that.

yea..Messi was invisible today.. he needed to assert himself more. Iniesta was amazing. Neymar was embarrassing with the dives... I understand he gets fouled all the time but there was a lot of unnecessary rolling after fouls and diving. Great goal though.

Messi wasn't the normal messi but he wasn't invisible did you see the passes he gave? If they were little sharper they would have at least scored 2 goals

His final pass was lacking the majority of the game. He lost the ball a lot as well. That could be said of a lot of Barca's players today, but when it's Messi you tend to notice it more.

yeah i hear you but like i said he had 2 or 3 good final passes. if they were sharper they would have scored then this discussion would have been different. but they were messy with their chances. when the defenses are tight messi always tends to disappear we seen that in the past.

Ronaldo limps out of training session

Cristiano Ronaldo is a serious doubt for Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter final second leg at Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, after limping out of training just minutes after Carlo Ancelotti had suggested the Portuguese would not play in the game unless he was 100 percent fit.

• Train: Ramos inspires Real

Ronaldo was rested for last Saturday’s 4-0 La Liga win at Real Sociedad, but travelled with the squad to Germany on Monday, having spent the weekend in Madrid undergoing a specific recovery programme overseen by his club's medical staff.

The Los Blancos coach told his pre-game news conference that if the Champions League’s current top scorer would have a chance to prove his fitness in Monday evening's training session at the Westfalenstadion, but reporters at the session immediately afterwards saw the player leave the pitch early showing clear signs of discomfort.

"Ronaldo has had some treatment and trained at low intensity," Ancelotti had said. "We will decide after today’s training, and see whether he is okay or feels uncomfortable. If he is at 100 percent he will play, if not he will not."

According to press reports, Ronaldo played through the pain in Madrid’s recent defeats to Barcelona and Sevilla due to a tendonitis issue in his left knee, but Ancelotti rejected a suggestion that any risks had been taken with the player’s fitness.

"All the games that Ronaldo played, he played as he was okay," he said. "We have never taken risks with him or any other player. Cristiano and I think the same -- he should always play [when he is fit], but when he does not feel right he cannot play. He is a very good professional, knows his body very well. When he does not feel right he says it, without any problem, as happened for the game against Real Sociedad."

An away goal for Madrid on Tuesday will mean Dortmund need five to progress [more than they managed even in last season’s 4-1 semi-final first leg between the clubs], but Ancelotti said there was no chance of him playing a more defensive side than usual.

"We will not change the system, we need to play the same," he said. "They have 90 minutes to score four goals. We have 90 minutes to score one. The earlier we score the easier for us. The idea we will try to put out on the pitch is the same as always. We will play our way -- attacking, as we have a lot of potential in attack. We will look to attack and defend together."

Fabio Coentrao and Angel Di Maria should return to Madrid’s starting line-up, while one of Isco and Asier Illarramendi will keep their place should Ronaldo not come back in. Gareth Bale is fine to continue despite having two stitches in a cut knee after Saturday’s game, Ancelotti said.

"Bale had a bang to his knee and has recovered well," he said. "He has no problem to play tomorrow."
