Barca is a joke. They didn't want the league. I have no confidence with them on Wednesday for the Copa.....but watch they win and try to play it off as a decent year because they got silverware.

A joke :hmm:
At this point, it seems WHEN they win it.

Smh is all I can do. Ferguson made it his life's ambition to dethrone them, and when he does, he retires, and a year later they're right back in it.

But I'm still banking on Shitty or Chelsea to pull off a miracle.
You better bank on Chelsea because that's going to be the only one who might pull it off.

And lets not forget the gunners.......almost getting knocked out of the FA :smh:

Well... Barca doesn't have to deal with Ronaldo in the final so there's a little more hope to escape this sub par season with some silverware

Well, that was expected. Is it me or is Messi not trying?

Not just you. His effort just isn't what it used to be. I don't know what to make of it. Is he nursing an injury? Family problems? who knows... but that killer instinct he's had the past few years on the pitch has been missing.

Great goal by Bale... just blistering pace and sheer effort.

Making a point like Kobe when he wouldn't shoot against the Suns? It doesn't seem like him though.

Barca should have never let him enter back the game so soon when he was injured during psg match

That game was pathetic.....shouldn't have even made it close getting an equalizer the way they have been playing. This is reminding me of how pissed off i was with the team during the Frank Rijkaard spell.

Martino needs to go. Not even going to go in on Messi not showing up for the last however many weeks.....we have enough capable players in the front 3rd who can convert. And all that playing wide, trying to cross in :smh:

Looks like it'll be another year of the same (or worse) if the appeal does nothing and no moves can be made.

Messi strikes me as a self motivator. Someone who doesn't need much inspiring to get going. However, sometimes you can get stale in routine, so if he's not showing up, maybe it's that.

If so, I don't know if Martino is the guy to man-manage him out of his funk. He might need something of a Guardiola type to reignite his desire.

The thing about messi he has that in his game. Like not giving a fuck. The only difference is most of the time he will have 2 or 3 sick action were we all say that's messi. He is not like CR7 who really goes for it.

Now the 2 or 3 actions he would normally have don't work anymore. Cause people also knows how he plays. If you can lock messi down he really is useless to be fair. That injury played a big part too

Its easier said than done to lock him down though. He's usually escorted to goal by 4 or more defenders.

I just think he's reached a point that the football has become a little stale. His body language says so anyway, but who really knows.

I don't need Messi to do everything and over the years I have complained that he tries to do too much in games. Once in a while I'd be ok he'd just facilitate for 90 mins. We all know he's going to draw defenders....do that and hand it off. Enought ppl on the team who can finish.

Not to say he doesn't do that because at times he does but its the times when he get hell bent on going forward or forcing his way into/through the box where a pass would yield an easier and possibly better result.

Let me get back on topic...think I deviated there with my rant....if the football is stale right now, wouldn't he be going into a similar style with Argentina? The pressure is going to be even more then and he can't afford to not show. And say he is "resting" for it....would you really want to go into June not really in good form assuming he's healthy? Maybe the injury has more effect than we thought.

Yeah, it's hard to be mad at someone when they had over 90 goals in one year and nearly 30 assists. One "off" year isn't enough to be concerned about. Especially when he was fine in the league clasico.

Atletico won today again by the way...these dudes almost never give up any goals.:smh:

I disagree he plays without motivation. Is one thing if he tries but dude is like fuck this shit lol.

Anyway barca ain't getting better iniesta and xavi are getting older. I never understood why they sold Thiago in the first place.

He got sold because Tito Villanova didn't play him enough. His buyout clause was €90 but got lowered to €18 because he didn't play the minimum number of games. Barca still has his brother Rafinha, who's really good too.

Also, Mourinho just lost his first game at home as Chelsea's manager.
