It's a great turn out and don't want to take anything away from it but I think too much is being made of it.

It's a big crowd because the Big House can host that many ppl....its the biggest stadiums in the country. You got 2 of the biggest clubs in the world so of course a lot of ppl will come and add the fact that they don't get to see games like this....more reason to show.

Like I said its great, and shows that there are a lot of ppl interested in the sport in this country but it's not like 100k+ showed up for an Everton/Napoli match or something like that.

Barcelona have announced that they have agreed the signing of Thomas Vermaelen from Arsenal on a five-year contract.

Reports surfaced on Friday that the two clubs had agreed a price for Vermaelen, believed to be around 15 million pounds, with the Spanish side beating off competition from Manchester United.

Barca announced on their official website on Saturday: "FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Belgian international, who will sign a five-year contract with the Catalan club."
