Flash-sideways are a complete waste.

Something else I've been thinking about is the whole "Sideways" visions. I don't think they were a result of the bomb going off. I think its reality. I think its showing what the result will be of the series finale. Something else from last season, MIB said "It always ends the same" with Jacob's reply of "It only ends once, everything before that is progress." That statement alone signifies that Jacob has been on the losing side of the battle for a long time. This leads me to believe that whatever happens at the end of this season will result in the Island being underwater which would change the past and the current timeline.

Each week I get more confused by watching this show. Each new episode they say answers will be revealed but I just get more lost from watching it.

Screw answers. They tell you that shit so you will watch. Have they answered much of any fucking thing since this show has been on the air? No. Enjoy it for what it is, or be disappointed.

Answers are not what make this show, or anything for that matter. Its how complex the possibilities are that you are left to ponder.

Not for a season that promised otherwise for the series finale you psuedo-cinematic intellectual fucktard.

Screw answers? Are you fucking kidding me. If that was the case the entire was better left off atleast a year ago where our minds good wander and ponder the endless hypotheticals.

This shit has not been as advertised.

"Answers are not what make this show, or anything for that matter." What!? Fuck outta here with that fortune cookie bullshit nigga.

Fuck the advertisements. Theyre done by ABC. Not the writers or the production company.

Be patient. Everything wont be revealed in one episode.

When has it been shown that Christian was being possessed? So far Jack considered seeing his father a hallucination.
his body has been missing from its coffin since season 1.
They probably have a purpose that hasn't been revealed yet.

exactly

but this episode sucked. it had its moments, but all it did was pose more questions:
where is Jin?
where is sawyer?
why was jin locked in the freezer?
what the hell is wrong with claire?
where does that secret room lead to?
why is sayids brother married to his girl?
Why did the smoke monster have to kill all those people, and why couldnt he have been done that?
why would jacob give someone a decision like that?
why didnt jacob give anyone else that type of decision, that we know of?
why would jacob have sayid brought to the temple, so he can go crazy?
Its obvious flocke cant die, so why cant he just get off the damn island, and why does he need people to go with him?

so everyone beat Richard to the temple? how is that possible? ilana, sun and them stopped to bury locke. flocke took a detour to go get sawyer, take him to the cave, then go see claire, and he still beat richard to the temple? even kate left, met with sawyer, took a swim, spoke with jack and hurley, and still got back to the temple before him. now, next week, if jack and hurley beat richard to the temple, im gonna throw my tv away.

What all got answered? The only thing i really noticed was the origin of the samurai. But I missed the first ten minutes...

I think a lot got answered last night and it is setting up for the final battle beween good and evil.

A lot of what happened last night reminded me of the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Flocke is "evil incarnate" as the samurai said, and "if you let him say even one word" than it is already too late. And just like the snake influenced Eve, Flocke has taken a hold of Claire. While Flocke is influencing people by promising them whatever they wanted (Sayid) or promising death (the people who stayed behind in the temple), Jacob is building an army of his own "free-willed candidates" who can not be influenced. I think they keep each other in check on the island and Jacob's death due to the loophole (Free will, more specifically Ben Linus' free will) threw the whole balance out of whack. With ten episodes left, I'm sure that the writers will touch on this a bit more.

By the way, I think that Jack will be Jacob's "Adam". Last week, Hurley had specific instructions to turn the lighthouse thing to 108 degrees. When they showed the notes on Hurley's arm for a brief second, a lot of it was illegible, but the last line of the instructions said "Adam @ 108". And we all know what Jack did when he started to turn the wheel that way.

Are y'all watching these episodes or y'all just skimming through it?

i watched every season twice, and every episode from this season twice as well. Not much as been revealed.

Exactly!...I got all the boxsets, I've been watching since day one. This nigga trying kick some philosophical shit like he one up on me. As many twist and turns this show has you can't be 100% on anything. "Do you watch it, or do you skim through it?" GTFOH.

^^^Lmao. I think half of the fun of watching this series is coming to your own conclusion about what the answer could be. No matter what is in these final 10 epis there is no answer that the writers could come up with that will satisfy eveyone.

did jacob influence hurley to take jack to the tower? and to take sayid to the temple?

He straight up told Hurley to do that last episode. I believe he told Hurley to take Sayid to the temple when he was dying in the first episode of the season. Why would he do that knowing that he could be influenced by Flocke? Yet another question to add to the mix.

not really, why would ilana and richard be on the side with sayid and claire, who are with Flocke?
said it mad more sense, not complete sense. there are a bunch of things to infer from the photos after these latest episodes. :dunno:

who knows what's gonna happen with richard and ilana and why they would be on what looks like the 'evil' side?

the issue is that there are 2 different photos. clair and hurley switch positions. miles is moved in them. jin and sun's position is different. they never explained why 2 photos, but one might represent the island and the other life back home.

If the sideways reset wasn't caused by the bomb, then why did miles say that Julia say that "it worked"?

the sideways are a reflection of what would happen if the plane never crashed. its sort of like letting us know, that eventually, the people will get off the island, and when they do, their lives will be as if they never crashed on the island. they will have no recollection of anything.

And why did the Samari have to die before Flocke could enter? Exactly what prevented Flocke from entering. (i guess we can infer and assume but why even have the episodes if thats the case). Maybe we will get a more detailed answer to the true role of the samari later but the point remains that nothing was answered yet again.

You wrote alot but you didnt say much. Its all one personas interpretation and attempt to validate the waste of time that has been this season. Surely a concept as basic as free will versus temptation doesnt need 5 wasted episodes to articulate. We already knew it was a good vs. evil battle last season.

Also, both of these fucks are manipulative bastards so im not even sure how much that assessment (free will v. temptation) holds weight.

not jacob, you mean flocke/mib. i dont know. and how did he even know Dogan (samari) was dead? I'm glad Dogan second in command got killed, he annoyed me. and didnt they put ash around the temple when they first heard jacob was dead?

But didn't Jack have scratches on his neck when he was on the airplane, indicating that what happened/happenining on the island is still transferring over to the sideways reality?

And he also didn't remember having had surgery on his appendix.

You're over analyzing. Thats just where he decided to sit after they took a break for lunch more than likely.

:smh: @ Niggas trying to analyze a promo pic now. That shit came out last season, probably before this seasons script was even written.

they sure did and shot of a rocket flair like they were warning other people about this. So is there other people on the island in another temple or strong hold or something?

Yes flocke (jacobs alter ego and shit:lol:). Thanks for the correction i will edit the original.
Agreed on Dogan's second in command too. He served no purpose, especially when Dogan started speaking English on his own.

Flocke is not Jacob's alter-ego. He's John Locke's alter-ego, possibly possessed by the Man In Black (Jacob's Nemesis).

:lol:I know, i was making a joke to explain away my mistake bro. Im well aware of who he is. I've watched the show religiously for 4years. Also loosely used the term to indicate two sides of the same coin, good vs. evil.

I wonder if Claire is really gonna live up to her words and merk Kate for taking Aaron away...and so i'm assuming that was Smocke impersonating Christian when he asked Claire to go with him? or the actual Christian... I just think the ending is gonna be Locke = Smocke and Jack = new Jacob and start alllll over again. And as far as the person asking about why Jin was tied up in the freezer, I think he's actually good in the flash-sideways and Sun is the bad one...because when they were at the airport and asked to see his bag, he seen that money and was shocked! Or it could be just the money Sun's dad gave her to give to Jin's mom but kept it instead...who knows

And he also didn't remember having had surgery on his appendix.

Juliette perform an appendectomy on him in season 3.

I like last night's episode but I agree that this season hasn't been the best. They have basically just confirmed what we already guessed at the end of S5. Maybe the writers are so used to posing questions that they don't know when to stop and answer a few? Maybe they never had a plan to begin with and they are just making up shit as they go? Maybe they just suck and now they can't hide it anymore?
Seriously what do we know now that we did not know before the season began? The Losties are candidates. Some Monster/Flocke can't cross ash. Good vs Evil. Claire is alive and crazy. There's a lighthouse on the island. All of this could have been answered in 1 or 2 episodes tops.

you have no idea what you are talking about.

they been finished writing the scripts for all the episodes. they took this picture at the beginning of production of this season. of course that shit is relevant. nothing is incidental with the shit they put out.

the pict is patterned after The Last Supper. Sayid is in the same position as Judas. you think that's coincident?
