Oh shit they have all gone crazy

This is a very unique way to tackle the I know what happens in the future scenario...

Use science and go with the thought that because I can see my creation in the past therefore... I must exist until the moment of its creation.

Agents of SHIELD Rumored to Be Renewed For Season 6

ABC is rumored to renew Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for season 6, with the network keeping the flagship Marvel TV series for another year. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. initially premiered in 2013, spinning off from the events of The Avengers and continuing the story of Phil Coulson. Though it debuted to record-breaking ratings for ABC, viewers quickly fell off throughout season 1. Unfortunately, the series didn’t find its footing until the tie-in episode with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Those who stuck with it, though, would undoubtedly argue it’s only gotten better with each season.

Currently, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is in season 5 and dealing with saving the Earth from cracking apart like an egg. After a trip to the future, they’re back in the present day and trying to change the timeline. However, certain members of the team aren’t convinced the time loop they’re stuck in can be changed. Still, it’s up to S.H.I.E.L.D. to save the world from a threat most don’t even know about. Meanwhile, a new rumor about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s season 6 renewal chances saves fans of the series from worrying (too much) about the show.

RELATED: WHAT WOULD AGENTS OF SHIELD SEASON 6 BE ABOUT?

MovieTVTechGeeks is reporting that they have three sources at ABC, Disney and on the production team saying Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be renewed for season 6. The report should be taken with a grain of salt, though, until official confirmation comes from ABC. Screen Rant reached out to ABC and Marvel TV for comment; ABC responded, “The network has not announced pick-ups yet.”

In past years, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has often been on the bubble (a show that could be renewed or cancelled) with decent enough ratings, though the series is typically not up to par with the network’s bigger hitters. Last year, early buzz indicated ABC would renew Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the network did eventually order a fifth season. However, it was later revealed the parent company of ABC and Marvel TV, Disney, had to step in on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s behalf. Further, early reports have been wrong in the past, just look rumors about Agent Carter being renewed for season 3 before it was officially cancelled by ABC.

With that said, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is ABC’s last Marvel TV series, considering Inhumans is all but assuredly cancelled after its lackluster season 1 run. With both Agent Carter and Inhumans now done, the network needs to keep Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. if ABC hopes to remain the “mothership” for Marvel TV. Marvel TV has greatly expanded in recent years, with six series at Netflix, one at Hulu, and an upcoming show on Freeform. With no Marvel TV pilots moving forward this year, S.H.I.E.L.D. is the only Marvel series ABC could schedule for the 2018-2019 season. But, all that doesn’t necessarily guarantee Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. a sixth season.

In terms of what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 could be about, there are plenty of ways the show could go. However, it still remains to be seen where season 5 will end up, and what effect – if any – Avengers: Infinity War will have on the series. The movie is expected to have a major impact on the film side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but with the TV shows operating separately for the most part, it’s unclear how the film’s events will be explained. Still, no matter which direction Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. goes, fans will no doubt be pleased to hear the team will may continue on for another season.

Agents of SHIELD Teases A New (Old) Marvel Comics Villain

SPOILERS for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 5 episode ‘Inside Voices’ ahead

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has teased the long-awaited arrival of a Marvel Comics villain – Graviton. The fifth season of ABC’s flagship Marvel series has not only rocketed Phil Coulson’s team to the future, but has also indulged in numerous callbacks to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s past episodes, especially the events of the first season. This week’s episode, “Inside Voices,” revealed the shocking fate of Ian Quinn, one of the series’ earliest villains, as well as shedding new light on another character long believed deceased, Dr. Franklin Hall.

Both Ian Quinn and Franklin Hall first appeared in the third episode of season 1, “The Asset.” Quinn was a billionaire industrialist and owner of Quinn Worldwide who was also in league with Hydra. Quinn developed the technology to create Deathlok, and he was one of the first villains Daisy Johnson (then known as Skye) faced as a recruit of S.H.I.E.L.D. Later in season 1, Quinn shot Skye point-blank and nearly killed her. However, beyond his dealings with Hydra and his hand in the creation of Deathlok, Quinn’s true obsession was Gravitonium. This is where his old Cambridge University classmate Franklin Hall came in.

Hall was a scientist, an expert in Gravitonium, and an unwilling S.H.I.E.L.D. asset. Hall leaked his location to Quinn so that his old friend could help him escape S.H.I.E.L.D.’s clutches. In turn, Quinn hoped Hall would weaponize Gravitonium for him. However, Hall recognized the danger Gravitonium posed to the world and planned to destroy it; Phil Coulson ended up throwing Hall into the Gravitonium during S.H.I.E.L.D.’s assault on Quinn’s Malta headquarters. Hall was presumed dead, but now, “Inside Voices” indicates this isn’t entirely the case.

General Hale brought Carl Creel, the Absorbing Man, into her operation because she wanted him, via his powers, to test the effects of Gravitonium on a person before she used it in the Particle Infusion Chamber that would create the Destroyer of Worlds – who will be either Daisy Johnson or her daughter Ruby. Creel attempted to absorb the Gravitonium but soon realized the unstable element was “alive.” Later, the Absorbing Man referred to whatever is in the Gravitonium as “they.”

The final scene of the episode is a flashback to “Four Years Ago.” In the season 1 finale “Beginning of the End,” Quinn and Raina escaped Hydra together and took the Gravitonium with them. “Inside Voices” revealed Ian Quinn hasn’t been “in hiding for years” as General Hale believed. Rather, during their escape in a truck, Raina betrayed Quinn and trapped him in the Gravitonium – the same fate that was inflicted on Franklin Hall. Therefore, the two former classmates have been absorbed in the destructive element for the last four years but they – or their consciousness, at least – are still somehow alive.

When Hall perished in “The Asset,” fans were disappointed because, in Marvel Comics, Franklin Hall is the gravity-powered supervillain Graviton. It seemed like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would never pull the trigger on having Graviton on the show. But now, with both Hall and Quinn alive within the Gravitonium, the seed has been planted for Graviton to possibly appear in the series in some fashion after all.

This could possibly be through the Absorbing Man, who retains the memories of Hall and Quinn; Creel could somehow mutate into a gravity-powered hybrid of all three and become S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s version of Graviton. Or if Ruby does have Gravitonium fused into her cells and become the Destroyer of Worlds, her new gravity powers could make her Graviton. It will be fascinating to see how this will all play out as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s fifth and possibly final seasonrockets towards its climax.

It's good to see Raina again for a quick moment.

I hope the rumors of a possible season 6 are true.

One of many things I like about the show is that it makes great callbacks to previous seasons. It's not force like many shows, it's done naturally.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Actor Gabriel Luna Is Your New Terminator

Actor Gabriel Luna is your new Terminator. Follow him if you want to, you know, see him be the new Terminator. According to Deadline, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actor, who played Ghost Rider on the ABC series, will reportedly portraythe titular futuristic cyborg in the franchise’s upcoming sixth addition. (Okay, so the film technically does not have a confirmed title, but given the previous five Terminator movies, “Terminator” will probably be in there somewhere.)

Luna will be joined by new costars Natalia Reyes, star of Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas, and Scream Queens’ Diego Boneta. As previously announced,Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton will return for the James Cameron-produced film, which is a sequel to 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day. There is almost no way director Tim Miller will ask Gabriel Luna to do an Austrian accent, but…what if he does?

Probably with one or two sentence mentions like always
