great to see we showed up and out. amazing how fox news and republicans kept talking about a red wave when they literally haven't provided an agenda the last 6 years. yell maga, block democratic agendas and kiss trumps ass were all they did. oh and try like hell to start culture wars. anyway hoping georgia take care of business and get warnock reelected. ...this whole herschel walker experiment been a slap in our face. seeing lindsey begging/crying for turnouts, trump taking credit for good and none for the bad has been hilarrious. probably the best tho is the young voters after watching they parents 4-6 years ride around with big trump flags on their big trucks and spray maga in big letters on they grass and of course j6 say fuck this shit.

If Dems can get this seat, they can throw out probably the worst gerrymandered map in the country.
Wisconsin is a 50-50 state, but they have a 6-2 Republican Congressional delegation, and Democrats are pretty much locked out of any path to a majority.

Its one thing to fight for the fifty-fifty split and have Manchin running interference, but once that possibility is eliminated
Plus I imagine Cruz and Blanche tired of pretending they like him and holding his hand in interviews.

Their not going to waste the money on him they got to work towards 2024 with real candidate's that will win and not 45 props candidate's. Machin has already turned his back on the GOP and 45 and is on their bad side he needs the Democrats to survive now.I don't think they will.

Nah, Trump wasn't a plant. He was the end result of them building a foundation of fears, lies, and hypocrisy without considering that they would create a monster that they couldn't control. As the saying goes, "Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind."
And at this point, I'm not sure that there's anything Republicans could do to win me to their side. There's that much bad blood at this point. If they tried cut me a check, I'd just assume there was a catch to it.

I'm hoping cbouzy is right and dems keep control of the house. It might break the cycle we've been in.
Normally dems get booted out before their policies can take effect, so things start getting better as soon as the GOP gets in power. Then they start rolling back stuff and when dems finally get control again they have to fix their messes before they can continue to build and progress on their agenda, often with not enough time to make significant change.
Also when people are struggling they will listen to and follow anyone who offers a glimmer of hope to change their situation
If them dem policies work as intended, people should see relief and positive change. They'd have 4 consecutive good years instead of just 2. It would be 4 years where they country didn't end, and when the apocalyptic forecast from the GOP doesn’t happen, maybe some of the fear mongering will be less effective. The senate will be able to move a bit faster if they get Warnock also. And hopefully no government shutdowns.
Hopefully when 2024 rolls around, dems would be reelected as a thank you instead of voting them out to see if the GOP could do better. It may be wishful thinking, but I'm really hoping and praying the fever of stupidity over this country finally breaks and people either regain their senses or get shouted back to the holes they crawled out of in the first place.
The Democrats kept everyone head above water and some people acknowledge that, also the Republicans brought nothing to the table. That was their biggest downfall especially when young people was paying attention, and they got the assignment right. There is a population shift going on in America right now and Republicans got a rude awakening about that fact. I do not want Republicans in power, but if they want to keep some type of skin in the game, they have to move a little bit more to the center. If the Democrats have a very successful two years before 2024 is going to be very hard to beat them in 2024, especially with the new crop of voters that are turning 18.
