The logic is flawed, since every player in the league gets traded besides Dirk and Lebron.

It's not flawed and every player in the league doesn't get traded lol. You can't just say a statement that's false to make a point

If the franchise believes they're gonna be truly special they not parting with them

Boston not offering up Tatum for davis they'd let go of Kyrie and brown in a heartbeat though

Luke :smh:

He was right, about them playing selfishly.

I watched Beasley, Lance, Ingram bring the ball up and shoot without passing the ball and taking bad shots

but once the players hear or think he's not long term, they're not going to have the same respect for him. :smh:

Nothing special about any of the Lakers young players. They are average players. I don't see any of them being consistent all star players....

My point as to why he's a bitch is more important than him taking the easy way out. Can't beat them join them shit is for suckas.

I see your point. Don't agree though but i understand it. My point is at the time of him signing what situation would have been better for him. There wasn't one. I can't find one. If there was then name it. And if there isn't then how can one say it was a bitch move? If he went to the best situation then i can't argue with that...

You know damn well why it was a bitch move. Would have been a fine situation if he stayed where he was, worked even harder in the offseason with the focus to beat the Warriors. Instead, he joins them. Come on man. Don't do this. :smh:

Bro that logic is flawed. Worked harder lol. Life isn't about working harder. It's about being smarter. So all I'm saying is it's no different in sports. Fans create these nostalgic scenarios like they make sense. But reality is fans wouldn't even do what they want these athletes to do. Especially when u apply these same scenarios to their jobs ......

What KD did was a bitch move, that can't be denied or debated. It was the easiest way for him to get championships though. Don't want to get into a long drawn out conversation about that.

As far as bein "Nostalgic". I watched the Deion Sanders doc the other day and remembered something.

Dude had no loyalty when it came to team rivalries :roflmao:

Who thought D'Angelo Russell would be an all star this season?

Why trade for Rodney Hood?

Depth at the shooting guard slot....

Years before it was CJ or Dame whom only provided a spark....well that’s what I’m guessing

He's injury prone, can't be counted on and is a free agent

They gave up too much IMO

Cleveland got more draft picks for someone they weren't keeping

I thought Russell would be better than ball though. And As of this point in their careers none of the Lakers young players have shown ALL star status/potential. They might develop but as of right now i highly doubt it

So you don't think putting up a triple double or 40 points is showing potential?

What about averaging 17 points?

No because they cant do it consistently which is the key word. Tony Delk scored 50 points in a game before:eek:Tony fucking Delk:smh:how many all star games did he make??. Just because a player puts up numbers doesn't make them all star potential

Bro you're right about that loyalty shit and I'm all for players being in control of their careers. I will ask u the same question. When he signed with GS what else would have been a better situation?

Ok name better situations at the time of his decision then. And state why they were better

The where: OKC, Miami, San Antonio, Boston.

The why: His legacy. I could get more specific about each individual team but i don't care that much. I will say this, if KD gives a damn about his legacy he HAS to go somewhere else and win it. Otherwise all his shit will have an * next to it.

This is what i mean by fans nostalgic. Let's talk about legacy first. KD right now is considered top 5 scorer of all time. RIGHT NOW! So he will go down as worst case top 3. That's a pretty good legacy right there but it's not done. He's considered right now top 3 small forward of all time. RIGHT NOW! Bird and LBJ being the other tops. He already has a league mvp and finals mvp. He has 2 rings about to get another. That's 3 rings. Numerous of all nba, 1st team nba, all star etc etc etc. So as of right now how many players ever can say they have done what KD has accomplished???? And he's not done; if he resigns with GS they will be favorites for several more years. So what legacy are you talking about:dunno:

The question isn’t really about a “Better Situation”.

Lebron could’ve taken the veteran minimum and played for Golden State this year. That would’ve guaranteed him a championship, but that’s not the path he wanted to take.

So “ The Right Situation” isn’t the right terminology.

I understand why KD signed with the Warriors, I’ll still call it what it was.

Now let's look at the BULLSHIT teams u listed to say they were better than GS. It's laughable that u think okc is better. The same okc who almost killed his career because of injury mishandling. The same okc who caused him to get reinjured because of mis diagnosing his injuries. The same okc who had shown several times over that they cared about money instead of winning. The same okc who ran an offense that KD hated. We not even talking about the business side of it yet; and how okc doesn't even compare to the bay area. I can go on and on about okc but it's funny and borderline ridiculous anyone would think okc was a better situation.......

Taking the veterans minimum isn't a better situation though. LBJ went to the Lakers mostly for what's going on outside of basketball. So yes for him that's the better situation. It's not just rings. That's why i ask anyone the same question. If you are presented with a scenario where a job is offering you a better work environment, more money to be made outside your work, better environment for your family, better opportunities for you outside of your job, your work is easier and you can accomplish more; so you not gonna take it? ?? You not gonna take it because the job is the rival of your company you at now?? :hmm:you fans are hilarious. ......

For his legacy damn near any team with a shot to win was a better situation fam. Stop denying that fact. Clearly he didn't care or he would've went somewhere else. Golden State wasn't the "best" option. He got vilified for signing there and his accomplishments there won't hold as much weight. Sorry but that's the truth. Even when Lebron left to an easier situation he admitted that coming back to CLE and winning was his greatest accomplishment. Just calling it how it is bruh. I fucked with GS heavy until they signed KD.

I'm not denying that GS wasn't the easiest situation. I'm saying i haven't heard yet one situation that was better. U just said OKC was better. U should be shot for saying that:giggle:and when it's all said and done KD legacy will be that of one of the greats. Regardless of what these stupid fans said. And that's all anyone can ask for in life....

Excellent point about Lebron. Don't even try to deny it Day_Carver. Just don't do it. :tut:

Comparing working a regular job to being a player on an NBA team is even more “Hilarious”. But not really.

If that’s your stance, then there’s not much to talk about.
