Comparing working a regular job to being a player on an NBA team is even more “Hilarious”. But not really.

If that’s your stance, then there’s not much to talk about.
Im comparing jobs to jobs; so for an NBA player thats their job; if you are an accountant thats your job; we have to put perspective on things; I do understand its hard to do that because we are fans and its entertainment; but its still their jobs; so with that in mind, i look it at like that. Thats why I get when people say it was a bitch move; i just dont agree with it.

He's injury prone, can't be counted on and is a free agent

They gave up too much IMO

Cleveland got more draft picks for someone they weren't keeping

Rodney is a solid player but he disappears alot and he's too passive...Lebron and the team kept telling him too be aggressive but he doesn't do it....He rather pass the ball than shoot a wide open three. The sad part,he's a solid three point shooter...

You don't think it was a bitch move but damn near every current and past player working a job in the same field as KD feels it was a bitch move.

You're entitled to your opinion though.

:roflmao2::roflmao2::roflmao2:

If they won't do bussiness with LA then fuck the Pelicans. Hope Ainge fleece the hell out of them.

That Pelicans GM is gonna be out of a job if he doesn't pull the trigger with the Lakers. Kuzma & Ingram alone is worth the trade but Magic is sweetening the deal big time. I'm gonna laugh if they let Davis walk out of town and get nothing in return.

Dell Demps might be out of a job anyways

I'm curious as to where Mickey Loomis' head is at because that is who Demps has to answer to and Loomis' priorities is getting back to the NFC championship over a basketball team headed to the lottery.

6 draft picks, players and the Lakers eating Solomon Hill's contract is a good deal..

Yeah they need to keep Ingram.

Pelicans GM should pull the trigger but i hope he doesn’t. They’re gonna have to do something with AD because they know he’s not signing.

It really isn’t. Their team is 13th place in the West with AD. Trading him and getting the Lakers young core would most likely make them better.

Yeah the Lakers are giving up too much. They should trade Bron to get AD, that’ll teach his ass a lesson! :roflmao:

You have to take into account that Demps and Gentry may not have jobs once regular season wraps up in the spring time.

And that may be one of the reasons the Pelicans are seemingly moving slow on this trade.

If you were Gayle Benson (or on her board of advisers) would you let somebody with Dell Demps track record make this franchise changing trade.

And that's before you take into account things such as attendance, the growing perception around the NBA that the Pels take a back seat to the Saints and the lease expiring in 2024.

Pelicans management prevented Anthony Davis from playing vs. Indiana: report
https://www.nola.com/pelicans/2019/...ony-davis-from-playing-vs-indiana-report.html

Despite requesting a trade last week, New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has maintained he wants to play for the franchise if he’s healthy. However, when he apparently attempted to make his return on Monday, he was denied.

According to a report from Yahoo! Sports, Davis wanted to return from his finger injury against the Indiana Pacers on Monday but Pelicans management held Davis out.

Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry was asked prior to the game if Davis had been cleared to play.

“He’s been cleared to practice,” Gentry said. And when if Davis could play in a game, Gentry ultimately said, “I don’t make those decisions. I was told he’s cleared to practice. That’s what I know.”

Last Friday when Davis addressed the media, he was asked if he would understand if the Pelicans would sit him out for the remainder of the season - or until the trade deadline on Thursday if he’s dealt before then - Davis said he would.

“At the end of the day, it’s a business,” Davis said. “If that’s what they want to do, they have every right to do it. But I just want to let them know, when I’m ready to play and able to play, I want to suit up.”

Davis suffered a volar plate avulsion fracture in his left index finger on Jan. 18 against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has not played since the injury.

Still think Boston makes the most sense
Only if they take Brown, Rozier, & the two upcoming first round picks. They're not getting Taytum. Boston will have Davis for 2 playoffs. That's two years Boston has to win a title and talk Davis into resigning.

Boston can’t give up too much to get Davis and he dont want to be there

Him & his pops made it clear that Boston is not one of their teams. You can't mortgage your future for a rental that won't get them a ring this year.

On top of that, Davis & Irving are the most injury prone superstars in the league. Them niggas miss games for the slightest injuries..

John Wall. :smh:

How do you injure yourself while you're out injured

The medical staff in d.c. is horrible right now

He had an infection on the incision from his hell surgery
Which led to this accident
This is right after Alex Smith was fighting for his life after his leg surgery

If you an athlete there get your leg surgery somewhere else

Lakers lose by 42 to Pacers, worst loss in a game LeBron James has played in
10:16 PM ET
  • ESPN News Services

The Los Angeles Lakers' 136-94 drubbing by the Indiana Pacers Tuesday was the worst loss in LeBron James' career.

Cleveland Cavaliers fell 126-91 to the Golden State Warriors in Oakland; and Nov. 28, 2007, when the Cavaliers lost at the Detroit Pistons, 109-74.

On Tuesday, James led the Lakers with 18 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, shooting 7-of-12 from the field. He passed the 32,000-point mark, becoming the fifth player in league history to do so.

After the Lakers closed to 12-8, Indiana scored five straight, extended the lead to 28-21 and used a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Edmond Sumner to make it 33-26 after one quarter. Aaron Holiday's 3 early in the second quarter gave Indiana a 42-28 lead. And when Los Angeles finally cut the deficit to 44-34, the Pacers answered with a 14-4 run.

They led 69-43 at the half, extended the lead to 83-53 on Tyreke Evans' 3 with 7:31 left in the third quarter and the Lakers never got closer than 25 again.

He played solidly for them. Surprising trade

Man this big, I heard his name being connected to the Lakers during the early part of last week.

By big I meant, adding pieces without getting rid of the parts that’s key to AD
