Originally, I had a whole different post typed out thinking Woj tweeted it around 11:15 (since that's when Broussard said the story broke).
I was being very critical of ESPN and Broussard for erasing Haynes from the story, saying that if Woj had broken the story ESPN would have branded the fact in our brains. I was definitely of the mindset that Haynes deserved credit for being first.
But then I saw the 10:53 and 10:54 timestamps. And it became much less important to me because we're not talking about who had better sources and got the story first, we're talking about who composed a tweet and hit send fastest. Neither of these guys are Woodward or Bernstein. I'm sure if they had both gone to sleep like Broussard, that story was coming out by 11pm regardless. And I can't fault ESPN for not constantly shouting out Haynes if they had the exact same information at the exact same time.
But again
If woj had it first all this minute stuff wouldn't even be typed out
Chris said he had it but he went to sleep
That means he wasn't on his job like the ppl who are on they job Right? Lol
