Just copped this case. I like not having to carry extra stuff so this is for when i want to go out and hang and not worry about having the bulkiness of a wallet or cards just sitting in my pocket. Its the slim spigen so doesn't add much bult to the phone. And i like how the case goes around the spaces between the lenses on the left.
Just found out the phone has a new RAM Plus feature where it uses a portion of your disk space as RAM. I turned mine up to 8gb to see if it makes any difference.
You will be able to choose how much virtual RAM you need on your Galaxy with One UI 4.1
One UI 4.1 will be coming with some quite useful features for the phones that support it, starting with the newly-announced S22 series.www.phonearena.com
I think at 8gb it seems to slow it down.Report back the results / observations
not surprised. it's a great phone. i'm sure they will have more in stock soon. The S8 Ultra is completely sold out on Samsung's website, the 512GB version is also sold out at Bestbuy.

that whiskey, i tell ya.
Actually this is Antutu benchmark, shows 8gb had better overall score and the real difference was in GPU performanceReport back the results / observations
8gb ran first and yeah temps definitely affect it it seems.@Mixd Which ran first? Look at the temps......
He's waiting until he gets the red one next week.Where's Flossy's real review?
Got the S22Ultra and Galaxy S8+, Samsung definitely stepped up their tablet game.
Okay, so I did a side by side comparison between my 12.9" ipad pro and the S8 Ultra. Bottom line, if your main use is recreation (video, music, games) get the iPad. If you want to get shit done, get the S8 Ultra.
The iPad gets much brighter with HDR content and the speakers are MUCH better.
The S8 Ultra does multitasking much better and it of course has Samsung Dex and a sd card slot. The notch can be hidden if you don't want to see it.
i’ve been using the 12.9” Ipad Pro for about 3 years instead of laptop, thinking about getting the S8+ Ultra Tab just to match with phone
I don't have an old phone. All my phones have been blackberries or palm/hp phones. My phone is 4g capable, but at&t won't support it. They are supporting the at&t branded Key one which has fewer bands and lower specs, but not my phone because it is unlocked.
Just hollered at TMobile to upgrade from my Note20U. Was told I could get "up to" $1000 towards the S22U provided I upgraded my plan to some Magenta plan bulshit, even tho I got 6 phone lines wit em..
Not only that but the $1000 rebate is divided into some 24 month plan, along with $85 monthly surcharge for the upgrade. And here i was thinking I only owe them bitches like 200$ for a new phone and thats it
Had some fast talking Asian bitch on the phone for like an hour tryna warm me into the deal but I backed down..
I dint realize this much hassle went into getting a new phone since my Note20U was a gift, last one I had b4 dat was a Note3
Just shutdown all 4 of my z fold 5g...due to not being branded AT&T..this is gonna be huge! Bae

I said this. There are NO major upgrades from the 21 pre release reviews says so. I traded in my Note 10+ for the 21. Now I may cope the S8 cause I've never had a tabletOK been using my S22 for a few days now. Biggest let down was the strength of the vibration. Samsung changed the direction of the vibration motor so it doesn't feel as strong. So if the phone is in your pocket you might not feel it. Lot of people online saying to change the vibration pattern to zigzag which should make it more noticeable.
If you're coming from a S21 you don't really need to upgrade. Since I have the S21 and an old S9 to trade in I'm upgrading for only $160 so it's worth it to me.
5G is still hit or miss on Tmobile in Queens and Long Island. I'm going to try leaving it on but for the most part I just left my S21 on LTE mode since most phones will try hard to hold on to a 5G signal and will burn through the battery doing it while giving you shitty speeds. It's been a big complaint with Tmobile and Verizon phones.
Nobody got their S8 Ultra yet?
Apple is insecure as hell, they don't want to allow iMessage, FaceTime, Apple pay, etc. on Android phones all while Gmail, Chrome, Google Pay, etc. are available on iOS. They know they'd lose a lot of people if they did that.
