The Galaxy S8 Ultra is a DAMN BEAAASSSSTT!!! Man I love this tablet. My Ipad pro will now cllect dust....drawing with the S-pen is very smooth and buttery. (I'm a stickler for drawing styluses and how they work) This is a close to my Wacom Mobile Pro feel and I dropped 3-4k on that when it first came out.

shit is smooth as fuck.....I love the OS and the fact that it links up with my phone? Shit is killer....

I want to Best Buy Saturday and was looking at one just to see how nice it was. I liked it and asked about trading my 2nd generation iPad Pro in, they talking only $150 trade in, I went to the Samsung website and they were offering $200 for it. I'll probably get one before this month is over

I didn't know this.

And so the end has come. Samsung has officially called time on the Galaxy Note line. At MWC 2022, Samsung head of mobile experience Roh Tae-moon declared we've reached the end of the Note as we know it.

Got my S8 Ultra Wednesday and this thing is HUGE. I had a 12.9 inch Ipad Pro, it makes that thing look small and my S22 Ultra look even smaller. With this tablet I feel you definitely need a keyboard. I love the screen

There's literally no need for it anymore. The S22 Ultra is what a Note 22 would have been anyway.

The Note series was originally the only phablet on the market. Now every company has one. The note line basically became a S series phone with a stylus and squared off design.

I got a S7 off Offerup for 100 dollars no lie, dude texted me halfway there saying the screen has a flickering issue and I told him let me check it out and I googled articles how to fix it.

I ended up sitting with the cat for 5-10 minutes trying to mess with it but the battery was dead so I charged with my car charger which was mad slow.

Push came to shove I was like what would you take for it? I can get it fixed and he said give me a hundred so I did and I went home and reformatted it and it works, it does seem to shut off once in a while, screen black but overall it's been 5 hours reading books and it's fine.

Most likely I gotta call Samsung about the warranty, I did the diagnostics and everything looks fine, I know these tablets have screen issues once in a while.

Overall I'm impressed, for 100 as long as it works I'm game and if it goes bad it should be less than 3 hundred total to fix.

And I copped the S21 FE and I'm selling my iPhone 11 pro max. I also copped the classic 4.

I'm happier honestly, this thing kills iPhone and Apple products, unless you knee deep in the system with a MAC I wouldn't recommend apple to tech cats. If you got kids and wanna share with the wifey on iMessage, cool but black folks barely married anyways:roflmao:

Samsung sure feels like the king of Android updates these days, routinely rolling out monthly security updates before the start of the month itself, beating even Google's Pixel lineup in the process. Usually we see flagships like the Galaxy S22 at the front of the line, and while Samsung has gotten the ball rolling there with the phone's June update, so far availability's been regionally restricted. As many of us still wait to get our hands on it, we're learning a little more about what to expect, and it looks like the June 2022 update for the Galaxy S22 series is set to deliver some significant camera improvements.
In a post on its South Korean community forums (via @UniverseIce), Samsung details the camera-focused changes that are on their way. The update aims to improve contrast and sharpness in photos and fix a bug in Single Take that caused it to stop capturing images after just one shot. Portrait mode's performance is also being improved, and if you use the Galaxy S22 to snap photos of your dog, you'll be glad to know the update tweaks the auto white balance algorithm to ensure the color of your furry friend's coat is captured more accurately. Memory consumption while recording videos has been further optimized as well, hopefully leading to fewer stutters and frame drops.
Finally, Samsung notes that the camera app's performance has been optimized — considering the stutters we've noticed with the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S22+'s camera app, especially while switching lenses and modes, we're very curious to see how this update helps.
In our Galaxy S22 Ultra vs. Pixel 6 Pro camera shootout, we found Samsung's flagship phone could certainly hold its own thanks to its versatile camera setup, but the images it captured left a lot to be desired. Perhaps it will soon be time for a rematch?

What's the verdict? Everyone still happy with their s22's?

Yeah I damaged my screen tho. I dropped it and it hit the metal leg of my desk. It didn't actually crack but there is a line across the screen under the glass that appears every now and then. It's still working tho and hasn't caused any issues.

If I had known the case situation was so shitty I wouldn't have paid attention to the color of the phone. My everyday case you can't see it anyway. I still don't care for on screen typing. I wish they made this with a pkb.

I got the S21 FE but they will give me 700 if I get the Flip 4 but they won't take it towards the S22 Ultra :roflmao:

Funny thing if I could get the Note 20 Ultra for a discount I'd probably take that, I think that form style is still a little better than the S22 Ultra.

Kinda prefer a boxy big joint for a big screen.

1, and I say this with affection, FUCK YOUUUUUUUUZEEEEE!
2, I'm not getting rid of my blackberry. I still use it everyday for minor stuff.
3, FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU again.

If I could have gotten another blackberry I wouldn't have gotten the Ultra.
You should try to get a cameo or lend them your phone to use as a prop.

Before the iPhone, there was the mighty BlackBerry — the world’s first smartphone, which enjoyed a meteoric rise in the early 2000s only to meet a catastrophic demise.
A new movie from “The Dirties” and “Operation Avalanche” director Matt Johnson, simply entitled “BlackBerry,” will detail the rise and fall of the once-ubiquitous device as its Canadian parent company Research in Motion floundered in legal disputes and eventually lost its market advantage to competitors such as Apple and Samsung. At the heart of the story is the business relationship between co-founders Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie.
The film’s cast is led by Jay Baruchel (“This Is The End,” “Knocked Up”) and Glenn Howerton (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “A.P. Bio”). Though it’s not yet confirmed, it’s likely they will play the firm’s founders.
