Anyone on here have a Samsung Tab S7 and can you recommend it?
I'm looking for a tablet to replace an outdated one from 2014. I need the S Pen as I'll be doing light drawing on it.
Anyone?

I have the s7+. Great device, highly recommend. The s8 is great too, but not much of a difference to make me upgrade

I was thinking about getting the S7 since it is about $200 cheaper than a Tab S8. I can get a 7 for
around $487 New and S7+ for 549.
The S8 I can get for $549 and S8+ for $749.
This is at Microcenter but that is the lowest I've seen on these. Might just get the S8 and call it a day.
Thanks!

I bought the 256gb one, this one is 128gb. But I bought mine a couple weeks ago on early Prime day for around $500. I needed a new tablet because the one I had was old. This is much faster, pic and vid quality is pretty good and it's so much faster. Plus it has an S Pen you can use. I recommend it for anyone looking for a new tablet.

I took a look around Best Buy on a whim and found an open box joint for $499. Going to try it out in a few.
This is great because I'm going to try flashing a custom rom onto my old one. Now I know if I screw up I'm not stuck.

Usually the open box are good at Best Buy. They are always risk with open box or refurbished products but with my experience, I've never had an issue. That tablet is legit, I think you like it.

It definitely feels premium. Running the updates on it now and about to buy a case stand for it!

One thing I can't find, tried searching and maybe I'm entering the wrong search terms. But previous to the update, I had my phone to auto reboot every Sunday morning at 4am. Now there is no setting that allows the phone to have a scheduled reboot.

They removed it and replaced it with the Auto Optimization feature. It's under the Device Care Settings

I see it, thanks.
So now it will reboot when it feels like it? Lol
Sigh...

But thanks, couldn't find anything online about it.

I ordered one of the flip 4's. I think I am going to like it better than the s22 ultra except for the tiny ass keyboard.

Thanks but that's Android 12.
On this Android 13, that option to choose is gone. You can't select when any longer. Unless they change it back in some update but for now all that's gone.

Don't know how others in the "community" aren't complaining, I had my phone rebooting once a week. I guess not enough people do that or whatever.

But in the mean time, I haven't rebooted since that post and phone hasn't done the auto restart. So maybe it doesn't think it needs to, who knows...

Yeah I checked my s22 Ultra which has 13 and you're right, it has changed.

Too heavy and wide?

No, the size is fine, but after I got over how gorgeous the screen is, its just a boring slab. None of the cases I've purchased can jazz it up enough to not look like every other slab phone out there. I've already damaged it and need to have it fixed, and it's not something I can feel comfortable and enjoy using because none of the cases protect the sides and I'm always worried I'll drop it again. The Flip is nice. I can have a full size screen in a more portable size. I wish it was wider tho, I hate this tiny ass keyboard. The flip doesn't have dex or the spen, but I haven't been using those anyway.

The only thing is there seems to be a bit of lag from time to time when I click on things, and sometimes pages don't display whether I'm connected to wifi or my carrier network. On the S22 I had forced 4G because the 5G is spotty. I may do that again. Phone call have been fine but the screen doesn't seem as responsive as it should be. I think the speakers on it may be better than the S22 tho. I transferred my info from the s22 ultra to the flip and was REALLY pleased to see it saved some of my settings like the transparent folders, that it took me forever to customize, but I've read transferring instead of setting up from scratch can cause lag so I'm wondering if I shouldn't redo everything.

The android update on the S22 I don't like. When I try to respond in forms and in emails it keeps trying to scroll up the page. I've rebooted everything and same issue.

I'm glad I got the S22 Ultra though. Otherwise I'd feel I was missing out on something. I really like the form factor of the flip tho. I think I'm trying to decide if I'm going to sell the S22 or keep it for an upgrade when the next flip comes out.

Keep it and trade it in later. Samsung has great deals when new phones come out

Yeah Samsung phone are usually more on the narrow side and taller than others, like a true candy bar shape. I like the flip too but felt it was too narrow as well.

Yeah on the ultra specifically Samsung programmed it to more aggressive closing apps, that's why it seems more responsive compared to the flip. Also the 256 gig model has 12 gigs compared to 8 on the 128 gig model, all flips have 8 I think and android is very resource hungry.

I got the s21 fe which isn't bad, very light, portable and a s7 tablet for my media consumption. You may want to consider a small tablet in ya bad when you go out, lots of women here got the iPad mini in the purse for stuff like that.

For those that use Samsung Internet to surf bgol, when you quote or reply to a message, does your cursor start acting up and moving around within the text you quoted? Does the quoted text just spread out randomly?

I just moved back from my Fold 4 to the S22 Ultra. That thin front was hard to get used to

I haven't experienced that. Are you using the default keyboard?
