He made some good points at the end. Why are Samsung phones getting Google features before their own devices? Google is the DC of operating systems.
Maxing out at under 500 nits is ridiculous. The brightness or lack there of with these displays is terrible. The iPad pro gets brighter with SDR content than the S8 Ultra does period. It's not solely due to using OLED either since Samsung's phones including the Fold 3 can get pretty bright.
This explains why it isn't easy to find the specs for brightness for these displays.
