Agreed. He's respectful of other top talent, as they are of him. It was good to see people wishing Max well when he was going through his health issues last year. Good friendship with Max and DC.

Well there's still a chance. He was winning. If he just wrestles-- but then some are saying he didn't because he couldn't really get the game there. Stipe might start on tbe body right off next time. I dunno. The next match if it happens is a tossup. I have a feeling his team.and Dana will talk him into it. The money will be hard to pass up. Plus he's so competitive. Hard to.resist.
Lol Conors realized people didn't give a fuck about the trilogy once Nate called out Mas Vidal. NOT ONE REPORTER asked Nate about him. Dana loved the idea. I mean, of course we'd watch it but look how humble his ass is.

Conor's problems are all the extracurricular bullshit crimes and legal hijinx outside of the cage ... the suspected recreational cocaine use ... the limited winning combat sport participation (wins over Alvarez and Diaz, and LOSSES to Diaz, Floyd & Khabib). Stay out of trouble, stay active, and the trilogy fight with Diaz would actually be a talking point for fight fans.
Whereas right now ... people acknowledge & respect the fight resumes from Diaz & Masvidal. A great 2019 for Masvidal (KO wins over Till and Askren) ... and the potential baddest motherfucker on the planet title on the line, per Diaz.
Conor came in the UFC doing it all right. Had his fan.base behind him, came.from a small place that backed him. Didn't hurt that that place is Danas ancestral home a well, and the Irish population here. He has the look, is a master on the mic , and most importantly , can FIGHT. and he's a finisher , not one of those point fight guys. He knows what the audience wants to see, AND he has the left hand that can KO people. He but up his sklls on the smart league and. tore through two divisions quick. The guys at the top of both 145 and 155c he beat 3 out of 4.
But this is MMA. There's just too many variables and ways to lose. You're BOUND to of your name ain't Jon Jones. One thing you can.say about Diaz and Mas Vkdal is they actually LOVE fighting. They've gone up and down and only because Conor came and got so much money did they sit back and realize they were working hard and not smart. But it also made them so experienced. Conor is like them ,but he's so popular , he can't go around losing as many fights as they have.
I think he sh9uld fight Cowboy still. Hopefully for his sake , he wins , it'll be an exciting fight, and he can.talk his shit again. He's still bigger than everyone , but Dana played it right. He needs to get back on there for people to care.
Good points. Definitely happy to see Nate and Jorge getting late-career shine. Real fighters that have paid their dues. Glad to see them with more respect and attention paid by fans & media alike. Yes - I still want to see McG vs Cerrone too. Gonna be a fun fight next month in Vancity. Gaethje vs Cerrone. I’ve got Gaethje the madman in that one!

It would be great if we got a wild scrap like many of Gaethje’s previous ones. Definitely worried about Cerrone’s slow starting habit. Gaethje is pressure and aggression from jump. He has minimal available fucks to give. He’s all about highlight footage & bonus money, haha. A Cerrone upset would be fun too, like you said. One for the old vets.
