Why only 40 days?
In addition to 40 being a biblical number, the proposed dates closely align with the dates for Lent.

Target never had a DEI program. None of these companies did.
The term wasn't even mainstream until a year or two ago when Republicans started using it as a slur. So when our lunatic president told companies to cancel their DEI programs of course they "complied".
All of these companies still have the same anti-discrimination and inclusion policies as before. Mostly because they hate lawsuits and bad press. When an incident happens they want to be able to say it was caused by a few bad apples who defied their company culture.
Trump may be in office, but the camera never lies and those laws are still on the books.
So what specific programs or initiatives did they cancel? Pastor Bryant isn't saying, but he's willing to throw Target's black suppliers all the way under the bus to make it happen. Saying that they'll benefit in the long run?
Unless they've shared their financials he doesn't know if there will even be a long run without Target.

I’m not gone lie I was pretty cynical about this. I went to Target maybe once in the last six months, but the brother broke it down well. If I had a pastor like this I’d probably still be going to church. It’s a good listen.
