The ratings are good, but 50 pulls these tantrums/publicity stunts every once and a while to let Starz know how much they need him. He's quietly been producing the vast majority of their original programming. Outside of the Power Universe and BMF, all we're left with is Hightown and P-Valley.
The paperwork moves slow over at Starz, and I think with the record opening for Power Book 4, they might give it a 2 year renewal rather than just 1 year. But 50 needs to be careful, because Courtney Kemp has already moved on over to Netflix so she's not as involved creatively on these shows as she once was (for better or worse), so the network could easily cut their losses and tell this nigga to kick rocks. What's he gonna do, shop it to another network like he did "For Life"?
