After this last episode, I'm even more convinced that the Weston fund is a Ponzi scheme. Not only did Tariq sign over his trust fund, but now the Tejadas are investing all of their legit cash. By the end of the season, Brayden's uncle is going to run off once it comes to light that he's squandered everyone's money. Also, I hate it that Effie is going to end up smashing Cane after Tariq went full blown savage this week. Ol' girl opened up and poured out her deepest darkest secrets to Tariq and he was just like, sorry that happened to you but let's get back to me.

We were lead to believe that Lorenzo was a big time shot caller, maybe at the level where he would have crossed paths with Ghost & Tommy, but ultimately this dude had less clout than fucking 2-Bit. And speaking of 2-Bit, now that dude stopped fucking Courtney, his storyline just went up in smoke. Wasn't he supposed to be blackmailing Triq for a weekly payout? We ain't seen that nigga in a Season and a half.

She more than likely knew that Drew was going to be with him and didn't appreciate being threatened earlier. For reasons unknown, Drew decided at the moment he did to get back on the case and heard the phone buzz as he sent the text. He immediately thought the worst and made the kill after getting confirmation from seeing the other phone.
