After the man was killed, she took a phone out and texted Drew's boo. For reasons unknown, he replied to that number knowing it was Mone. She showed the phone to Drew and Drew kept it. She more than likely knew that Drew was going to be with him and didn't appreciate being threatened earlier. For reasons unknown, Drew decided at the moment he did to get back on the case and heard the phone buzz as he sent the text. He immediately thought the worst and made the kill after getting confirmation from seeing the other phone.

Oh, so he was replying to the text to see who would respond? Got it. I thought he was using his own phone and just texting his boyfriend. Got it now. Thanks. Horrendou writing. Every plan plays out just how they expect it to and the people who don't know the plan always play their part as the planner expects them too.

Effie and crew was right to take Lauren’s dumb ass out. She a flat out snitch. Tariq killed everyone else but Lauren, but got the nerve to act like a hoe when his people did the right thing. I’m glad Monè called him out on that shit even though she a snake as well.
